I miss the old Newgrounds like back in 2006 and shit. Like when you are about to blam a flash movie or flash game it said 'Blam this piece of shit' which sounds so much better than 'Blam this plz' and Newgrounds profile's also looked better and there was also a thing where you pick what type of voter you are and you could select option on whether you're a fair voter or a mean voter which was interesting because it would say what type of voter people are on their profile's. It just doesn't feel the same. There is other stuff I miss about Newgrounds too but it's hard to put into words.

The only thing I like about "old" Newgrounds was the 2007 layout.

Newgrounds is still great

Newgrounds was great, it still is, but in different ways. Let's face it, things were eventually doomed to turn out this way - the amount of PCing is proportional to the amount of advertiser cock that needs sucking, and now that plenty of people are running adblockers, the advertisers need more suckin' than ever. Maybe it'll become better when newgrounds becomes "financially independent" (lol) but I'm not holding my breath. Not to mention that the copyright overlords have noticed this site.

TL;DR most sites eventually turn into gloryholes and this one is no exception

Funny. I just noticed one of my old flash movies got deleted because of that, tons of popular, copyrighted music in it. And I'm too lazy to find the .fla file, change the music for something from the art portal and upload it again. Well, nothing of value was lost.

Back then you you also see what your score did to under judgment movies/games as well. Plus back then they had the EXP and Whistle systems where the top user could punish everyone below them just by getting more EXP and/or Whistle points.

While the both were counter productive if you were at the top you could make everyone your bitches if you felt like it. Such fond memories LOL.

I agree with all of you who prefer old Newgrounds.

Everybody has preference for things they love to be like they were when they first fell in love with them. But I guarantee you if this place never changed or evolved, and it stayed exactly as it was then, you'd be bored with it by now and have moved on.

Nostalgia is great....up to a point, in the end NG is a business, and a stagnant business is a bad business.

I think things got over changed though in my opinion.

All I ever did for the first thirteen years was watch cartoons. I never even lurked the forums, let alone participate in them. I do a little more than that nowadays, and I even have an account, so I guess my experience with Newgrounds has changed for the better over the years. I'm fine without Old Newgrounds.
