On the tricky subject of "remixes" :

If the track is just some chopped, time stretched, Speed up, speed down, filtered, cut, extended, distorted, etc, version of the original, It goes against the rules. That's just sample editing and processing.

Even if a remix sounds like a legit one, there's still a big chance of being someone else work.
It's very common to find audio rips (usually from youtube) of legit remixes published here by someone that is not the original creator. Watch out for those, they are the harder to spot.

Copyrighted audio samples (including triple A games OST, anime openings, etc) are an absolute NO.

Yes but it is wrong to assume it's a YT rip without proof. Usually I try and provide proof for things that aren't bluntly obvious (like if it says "first of the year" instead of "Skrillex - first of the year"). I've noticed Monster doesn't really give proof and some of the time isn't even sure of their assumptions. Got to make sure potential talent isn't being wasted removed.

No problem. It's nice to almost go through the audio portal and see original work. I'm not sure what the theft rate was before Geometry Dash, but it sucks how much of it is there.

Screw you guys, NG is for talent, not for music to have on your Geometry Dash levels. Even one former audio stealer reviews songs saying "eh, I don't think I'll see it on a Geometry Dash level". Then there's one level on Geometry Dash asking RobTop to force these artists (like Skrillex, Martin Garrix, etc.) to upload songs. RobTop just needs to remove the privilege entirely. They've abused it, and now they've corrupted the audio portal, it's time for the privilege to be terminated.
