@Jackho, re: whistling, yeah, I get that as you're already deity, it can be tedious. I was more speaking for the ones who don't yet have a deity, like @MonsterboyGD, who would have had a gold whistle by now had he flagged all that stuff he reported before. I'd still say if you were casually browsing and saw something, just flag it and move on. The heavy whistle weights tell mods that you know what you're doing (i.e. your word isn't garbage) when you flag though, so it is helpful in some cases. For big batches, what you're doing already is great.

@NekoMika, @LexaHergon, second opinion? I recall this submitter flagging a song as his own material. Considering we're seeing barely remixed (albeit not copyrighted) content here, wonder how much of his content may be similar, and if it should be removed on that principle, or even if some is outright stolen. Very suspicious. I did go through the other submissions but couldn't ID anything to remove at the time except for (maybe, can't remember) a submission with copyrighted samples.

I suspect MIDI rips for some of this user's tracks.
When I see some low effort (just chopping, pitch shift, time stretch, etc) remix, I take it down.
If it is mostly a big sample of an existing song I mean.

Exactly, and these are all with mods crawling unscouted daily. It hasn't slowed down since the new GD banner came up either. @TomFulp, I remember you mentioning that it might. Seems theft rates are the same, if not worse. I'm encountering a lot in Spanish, Czech, etc., as well, so it's possible some can't even read it, but I know for a fact English is taught virtually everywhere. Must be a special breed of stupid.

@BlueAlpha14 @MonsterboyGD @infinitepowersource, all clean, not all by me, but clean and clear, and I checked the submitter's accounts and did find a lot more stolen content. Make sure you're also checking the submitters out!

Re: flagging, if you don't have a deity whistle, it's just more efficient for us mods. As I mentioned, not all of us that are audio mods do watch this thread as much as we check for flags, and flagging is certainly more organized. If you have a deity whistle though, it can feel sort of a time-sink to flag, of course, since the whistle system isn't really all that transparent. Basically, flagging just instantly and efficiently shows us what kind of rule break is happening here, and not to mention, it's anonymous, so you don't have to worry about the rule breakers seeing you helping out in this thread and zero bombing all your submissions, or something like that, as I've had done to me on previous occasions.
