I was looking at my old posts where I sent AI tracks for deletion, and this is what I found. It's Suno AI audio that should be deleted, but back then it probably wasn't as obvious what sounded like AI and what didn't, much less Suno AI v2 didn't sound too obvious, unlike the newer models.


This account has uploaded 8 Suno AI tracks, and in fact when I sent one of “his” tracks for deletion, there were only two tracks. His further actions could have been prevented, but at least none of his tracks got much attention. He also scouted!


I also want to mention this user I tagged in July 2024 because I'm pretty sure he was using Suno AI v2. I still don't understand why these tracks aren't deleted, because it looks like Suno AI v2. Maybe I'm wrong? 

And while months went by, he posted a new Suno AI track, but this time he used v3.5. why? Why??? Why is it still unnoticed?

I'll note again that one of the audios was Frontpaged.

Oh, I remember him... His approach to "I was just caught breaking the site rules concerning the use of AI" was to... not read the site rules (apparently), then claim that all he's doing is just an advanced version of what all musicians are doing, searching the blame with the people who reported him... Then insult and threaten those considerably younger users with a lawsuit and EARNESTLY TRYING TO BLACKMAIL THEM FOR MONEY to "settle" his completely fictional "losses".

That person is a straight up con artist and I was certain that @TomFulp would have deleted that man's account many months ago - not just because of the AI stuff (and his stated intention to keep doing it) but because of his straight up scam artist bullcrap. Ad-bots get deleted for less. ;)

He may have been a musician once upon a time, but today he's just trying to milk money from the internet. Whatever the internal justification to delete accounts "problematic" accounts is, it should be appliccable here as well.


I'd also like to direct the audience's attention to this review, to substantiate my depiction of his character for those who are not in the mood to dig back through old pages of this thread.


Thank you, G2961, for bringing this up again. Let's hope that man wasn't successful in scamming users who didn't speak up publicly after receiving a PM from him.

I remember him too. I have also reported his tracks multiple times, including the new one that came out in December after he lost his scout. I'm honestly surprised that his music (and/or account) never got deleted.

It's disheartening to me too, and I don't even make music. (Yet. We'll see.) Recently I've been trying to keep up with the AP as content is posted each day. I'm going to do a hunt today that will check the past few days. Once the AI tracks are caught in the old content from the past year, they're gone forever. There's entire sections of the AP that are clear of AI, and other spots that are still full of it. I've considered a project where I download the entire AP and check all the 192kbps tracks. Obviously it it wouldn't get get all of them (spoofed bitrates would hide well), but it would certainly help clear out most of the Suno tracks, as most fall under this bitrate. Udio would be easy to spot too, as the contributing artist is always set to "Udio X.X" or just "Udio". I did this back in October for the timeframe of a week in the AP, and it was a lot harder than I expected. Download speeds were not very fast (even on gigabit broadband coaxial), and Windows isn't too fond of thousands of audio tracks in the same folder while activly writing to it and mass sorting them too. There's things I can do to help stability (shorter paths, chunking, etc.), but Windows really isn't great for this (James Lee recently complained about the same thing). If I do this project, I'll need to fully switch to linux and work out a better CLI tool for mass downloads (I have a few ideas ready to go). Not to mention, that's also a lot of bandwidth for Newgrounds, and I'm not sure if mass dowloading like this breaks the TOS rules on automation.

The site staff will probably grant you an exception if/when you start mass-downloading to search for Suno/Udio tracks.

Your planned project involves helping Newgrounds fight against the onslaught of AI-generated garbage, whatever bandwidth costs the site racks up as a result is gonna be well worth it to keep the place slop-free.

I was actually suspicious of this one but it didn't sound as obviously AI-generated to me. I actually thought at the time "I'll find out soon enough once I feature one of their songs."

in such cases, it is enough to view the metadata of a suspicious track. stupid kids don't even try to get rid of the word "Udio" in the artist's name.

Found this yesterday at 5-6 am using my iPhone 7. It's so inconvenient to copy and paste there, but the site interface doesn't start lagging so hard after 10 minutes like on my android phone. by the way, half of these tracks are almost a year old.

Also, @G9261, I noticed that you started tracking what you flag via playlists. I recommend that you change the name of your playlists to something less conspicuous. My playlists were called "Definitely Stolen" before I renamed them to "Music" to not scare off any of the AI uploaders who would hide "their" track as soon as they saw the name of the playlist. As soon as a playlist fills up, I move to the next. I'm at "Music XXVI" right now.

Contextually I find this very strange:

How can so many music things be crammed into this caravan palace like musical piece which would obviously require a lot of work, yet the author didn't provide any description? There is nothing in their profile that might reveal they're an artist.

No, it's not AI. just look at the audio bitrate (it should usually be a maximum of 192 Kb/s) and pay attention to significant artifacts in the track. It's not difficult, just listen to a few examples.

idk. The audio quality didn't seem that good to me. It's weird, such an ambitious project yet no mention of any software(s), and they named it only "test". I also find the way it abruptly stops at the end is strange.


I don't know what to compare it to. I read stuff on and off newgrounds on how to detect ai music, yet I am not much wiser.
