Well I will go out a limb and say at least a +3 for you, we will see, if you notice +4 is the best you see in the top 100. Most the idlers are spaced out.

Well as a surpise I got yesterday with someone doing a top 2000 exp list. Well on that note this may be my last update. Since I checked the list and saw he had gotten everyone on my list. As long it list is going to continue, I see no sense in going on with mine. I'll probably make a final desicion over the next week.

Notes about the List:

The list was updated 1/01/06. The categories I use in order are current rank, previous rank, Exp from the last update, current exp, change in exp., and user name.<BR><BR>
In case of a tie I give the nod to the lower profile id, if a non profile person is tied they go last. I list in order current rank, previous rank, change in rank, last month exp, current exp, change in exp.

I only concentrate on the people moving up into the top 50, 100, 200, 300, and 400. I also included people movie out of the top 400, if you wonder why see my topic on Newgrounds, and look at my last update, thanks.

Well the top 50 got someone new DocDragon.

Moving up into the top 100 is Kronno.

Moving up into the top 200 are DerangedElectro, mr_trivia, Ppk3000, and Howlin_Mad_Murphy.

Moving into the top 300 are Admiral-R, j3nnica, hey_kramer, and ShotInTheHead.

I have no problem if you want to use the list I have to make it much easier to update yours. At least you have commentary with yours like an announcer at a race, where you explain who's moving into what spots, while mine is just the plain list itself.

It's up to you anyway, but I don't don't see why you should discontinue your list just because of this new top 2000 list.

Well your list made it easier to get the people with no profiles. I do admit that.
I actually have been cheating my my list a little the last few updates. I'll stay up till about 2am and wat hthe 50 last deposits and note the people that do deposit on my list it saves me from checking thier profile laters.
I originally started an exp list way bak when they put the exp rank into profiles.
With the whole purpose to see who was in front of me that was around 2 years ago, I was around rank 100 so I started with the top 100, and the list grew from there.
Back when I was using one of the data miners it was easy to do 500.
Plus since EXP goes up so slow it was never worth it to update too often.
I'm not sure I'm interested in going to continue at this time, but As I said I may take some time to think that all out.

Back oto the topic I hope everyone sees the year in review link. They can see who the true die hards are for the last year. Me being one of them.

I don't mind working with you on this. If you want, I could create a program for you that connects directly to my database and gives you the information I obtain over a month. Unlike when SK shared his dataminer program, this would only be connecting to my server, so it's not like I'd be creating more load on Newgrounds. Heck I could even have it output an html page in the format like the one you already have.

This could free up your time so that you can go back to a top 500 list as before. Now if you trully were interested in discontinuing and wanted to pass this off to someone else, that's fine too, but don't do it just because I have this list. Your commentary and the fact that people enjoy your list for it's own reasons, one of them being that it is the oldest list on here, does gives it a purpose. Mine is more for those who are not in the top 500 and people who just want to see a list and nothing else. People could see making it to your list as an acheivement in itself.

That's exactly what I'm talking about, your year in review link. I certainly don't have that. This program was built so that it would have very little manual maintenance once I was finished. So I wasn't planning on doing any commentary. You can continue to make more sense of what happened in the last month/year and organize it in a way that people can read it like a news report of last night's hockey game. I mean people don't just look at the stats, they also want to hear the highlights of the game and that's what you provide.

I see now that I should have contacted you about it. Most of the reason it took me almost a year is that it was more like a hobby that I'd leave and then get back to over time. If I really buckled down, contacted you or other people who were making these lists, I probably could have got it done a lot sooner. Already someone here pointed out the problem I had with The_Nameless_0ne, which I could have asked about before saving me time trying to figure that out. As I said before, this was only for my own personal use in the beginning and then I decided somewhat recently to release it once I realized that I managed to nearly complete a list of 2,000 users.

I'd really like to see you continue to update this list ramagi, because in the top 2000 list you only see differences of 10 exp, while on this list you can really see who you'll pass or not because of the larger amount of time between the updates.
It's up to you, of course.

I missed 260 exp this year. That's almost a month. Must have been before the summer when I didn't b/p or anything, because it's hard to miss a deposit when you get about 100 b/p points a day. Oh well, at least the top 200 is near.

Great update ramagi, I specially appreciated the year-end review (where, incidentally, Mein Gott, I only missed 10 deposits! X_X I'm more hardcore than I thought). I understand why you may not wish to continue the list with the new one by BigBlueBalls and if you do stop, my sincere and heartfelt thanks for continuing on with the list for so long despite the effort and boredom (something I know by first hand experience...) it takes to update!. So, should this be the end, many, many thanks.

That is an interesting offer, Well I had two people come out and say how much they like what I do. Yea this is actually my second topic for exp watching, that in it self is scary. With the way you do your list it would be easy to go back to 500 people. Even possibly more, I would say 500 at least, yet no more than 1000, more than that is out of my hands.

So this is a chance for the other users to speak up. With if they would like comments to go along with at least part of the new list. I also been watching what liljim says before I totaly go with anything. I am sure you understand why.

In short, it looks like far more than just ONE person cares about this list, ramagi. From Nijsse, who looks forward to this ONE list each and every month... to Recon, who wanted to let you know how much he valued getting ahead in the ranks of this list above all others... and everywhere and everyone in between. The list is loved by many for various reasons.

I'm not sure which one person you were referring to (DonDoli, perhaps? He's the only one who more or less said he wanted more list without also saying "but if you want to stop the list, I understand and thank you for all the updates over the past few years!" in essence.

And there's nothing wrong with that. For the most part, it looks like the fans of your list would rather it keep going, but understand if you want to stop it. But I strongly disagree that only "one" of them cares. It looks to me like quite a lot of them care.

And BTW, even though I haven't posted in THIS specific topic in months, I care, too. But I'm not going to beg you to keep doing the list if what you want is to stop it. To me, as many lists on Wi/Ht? as possible = teh greatness.

I'm perfectly happy either way, though, as I have mellowed in my oldstatage. Just do what makes YOU happy and all will be well.

I am one of the user that would like to see this list continue. I know it may seem trivial to go to bbb site and grab the stats you need to compile your list. But I enjoyed the year end review its proves I didnt miss a deposit( which may be a bad thing) also seeing points gained over a month is better depiction of someones pace. I am sure bbb can whip up a monthly pace section if he wanted too. though I think I am too late.

I've finally pulled even with Soul_Edge after weeks of him being 10 exp ahead... and I've just gotten ahead of Yota as well.

gfoxcook = in the top 100 exp users at long long last.

(sigh) What a long long long trip it's been. From January 2003 to January 2006. Three years. It took all of 2003, 2004, and 2005... to make up for all the lack of constant depositing in 2000, 2001, and 2002.

Well I was going to be announcing some format changes, but the top 2000 page is not working. Due to that the format chagne is a bit delayed. So here are thigns the oldfationed way. I left the Year end stuff up because people left positive coments about it. We have some BBS WS/HT regs moving up this time

Well I expected things to change for this update, but I guess late is better than not at all. All the Stats are from the first if you must know. I'm sad because BigBlueBalls never responded to any of my emails.
