I always miss 2-3 deposits a month without noticing. Damnit! I rememeber seeing Jontompson 10 places behind me or so, now he's right behind me. I still move upwards in the ranks so no worries I guess.

I don't why Chrono- complaining he's got two easy targets right in front of him. I would hate to be trying to get into the top 50 right now. Other than Yota falling down , other than a major power outage happening the chance there will be no new top 50 person for my next update. This last update barely had a new top 100 person.

If so... i'd like to know what my base Voting Power was from a year ago so i can figure out how much it has changed... so then i can figure out how long it would take to actually get a Voting power of 14.00+

I hardly spend any time logged in to my alt accounts. I deposit for two of them, and two of them I don't use at all.

Most people don't make alt accounts for "fun," they make them to placehold names. That's what I do, certainly.

Some do go around posting with them to play tricks on people and shit, but I'm not into that. I went along with ONE fad once, the Hackers movie characters one, where I changed gfoxclock to FantomPhreak. But that was about it.

Originally, I made gfoxclock to hold gfoxcook while gfoxcook was named gfoxclock for ClockDay 2003. Then I thought I'd give the account to my gf if she ever wanted one (all she'd be interested in is reviewing movies/games, not posting or b/p or anything). So I kept depositing for it and held it for that. But I ended up using it to post sometimes when I didn't want to post with this account, like I just mentioned up there to X. And I ended up making a second alt to serve as the "future account of my girlfriend if she wants it." It has 0 posts, 0 reviews, no profilepic, and only exp exp and tons of exp.

And then there's 999999 and 1000000. I just created those to grab those ID#s for fun. So yes, I've had SOME fun with my alt accounts. But it's not like I don't spend 99.5% of my time on NG with my main account, so... there ya go.

I'm simply AMAZED by what's about to happen to me. I'd been sitting at 150 for awhile... but there are around 5 to 6 people in the next 100 exp who are either not depositing at all or are getting like 10 or 20 exp per week right now.

I may just move up from where I am right now (#149) to #144 or so by the time a week's gone by. Depends on if a buncha people start depositing again to keep level 18, though. Because if they don't... it's level 17 for them all. :::nods:::

HT missed only 1 deposit all 2004 long. The reason he was only 10 exp ahead of Pimp instead of 20 exp ahead on that list of ramagi's is that he hadn't deposited yet on January 1st.

If you check the list right now, you'll see that he's back to 20 exp ahead.

I recently noticed that Shrapnel (who I knew was one of the people with access to HT's account, and did depositing for him) AND HT were still at the previous day's exp around 10 PM a night this past week... and thus that both of them had a chance to not get a deposit in before the next day. I refreshed both profiles a few minutes later and boom, both had +10 exp.

Shrapnel would have to miss a deposit right now for HT to miss one, I think. It doesn't seem like anyone else is depositing for HT right now. That happened quite late in the day. Perhaps that's what happened in April of 2004 (when HT last missed a deposit, the only one he missed all 2004). So anyway, yes it's possible that they'll trade the top 2 spots this coming year, or in 2006... but not very likely. Even if the "1 deposit missed per year" thing holds up, that means the gap will shrink from 20 to 10 this year (like it shrunk from 30 to 20 in 2004), and then in 2006 it will shrink from 10 to even, but HT has the tiebreaker based on profileid#.... so it won't be until 2007 that Pimp finally pulls ahead of HT for good if that "1 per year" thing holds up. Which it likely won't. It'll either be 0 missed... or a hell of a lot more than 1. That's my prediction for HT in 2005. #;-}>

So in a year... my base VP has increased by .35 which really isn't that bad. If i ever reach EGSC and my base VP reaches 8.75, then i'll be another user with a VP of 14.00 +

8.75 - 8.46 = .29

I'll have to increase my base VP by .29 and reach EGSC.
It seems to take a long time to increase the base VP though....

It doesn't stink but it's not necessary. I don't have a gf currently and I still enjoy my life. People always think that getting a gf necessarily makes their life more sucessful than the life of someone that is without a gf but we both know that it isn't true.
