There are far toomany slackers as I would say that feed off the givers and take advantage of the nice that some do, so like me if I see a homeless guy asking for change but hes able to go out there and work I dont give him that change because he will end up just using in for beer or whatever to keep himself down, I for one dont enable anyone.

No you just tell others how to behave and cant do the same yourself. Id have given you a home but fuck me right?
Easy, Q. I would say this is not the place to say such things, but since you have-
Most of us tell others to do things we don't manage to do ourselves at some point. Its not great, but it is not neccesarily the end of the world either- I have some faith in X and I hope that if there is truth in what you say, that he would continue to try and do the right thing.
I don't give money to beggars, but that is just a line I drew; I don't specially assume I can tell whether they are able to do work, nor that they have not tried to find work. The fact is that in the UK and the USA at least, some beggars are professionals that have homes- but most actual homeless have mental problems. I am sure that if X had a clear chance to help someone to get restarted and reason to believe it might work, he would want to help them do so.
There are slackers and we will get caught by them. We should take some basic attempts to protect ourselves from them, but at the same time we should not just give up on helping people. I am happy to support Homeless charities, who are in a better position than me to assess the people they meet.
Peace, guys.
