Choirdelite: ::Wide-eyed at the speed of his arrival she didn't speak for a moment.:: ...What is it that ye art talking about? I am nay saved...sir. I am not in trouble. They..nay bother me.. Ye do nay have any reason to bother more of thyself. ::She was talking faster then she was thinking but overall she was speaking it fairly well. She looked as a simple 20 year old girl with unnaturally red hair. as in not normal red hair, but VERY red, like fire. She was backing up into the darkness slowly. One step in the time it would take her to speak a sentence.::
Ryouma: ::His hard brown eyes widen in surprise at first...then squint in a mix of suspicion and perplexion.:: She claims not to be saved...--Yet surely you watched as I slayed those four maurading wolves! Yet you claim not to be bothered by them? ::His right hand came to his chin, thumb with its tip pressed underneath it as his index finger stroked slowly at the front of his chin...left arm behind his back as he smoothly pressed forward with every step she took backwards.:: I sense a mystery here...
Choirdelite: ::Twangs of worry grew as he advanced on her.:: Ye do nay sense anything. Tis better for ye to depart, aye? Ye seem busy... I understand with utmost if ye art to leave. ::She dug this cave deep as she could when in her true form, so it was a wide tunnel to the end. If one were to pay enough attention they'd notice the walls were carved and not eroded away. Also indentions could be seen along the walls and floor like many many blades were struck into the ground.::
Ryouma: ::His attention passes from her to the cave itself as he realizes something.:: This is the only cave on this entire mountain...Who knows what dwells inside! ::Then he'd squint into the darkness, and thus at the girl who was so easily and willingly passing into it:: Deep, it goes...Yet you walk it with some kind of...familiarity. Why do you know this cave so well? You know something about it, do you not? ::He pressed without mercy, it seems::
Choirdelite: Tis my home. Ye art nay one to wander into a home unwilled by the owner art ye? I do nay enjoy company. So I live ...so I live in a cave. ... ::She stops her backward stroll.:: Do nay proceed. Leave with haste. Ye will leave...aye? :: She hesitates to go furthur into her own lair. Obviously after this she will again have to find a new home.::
Ryouma: ::He stopped then, standing boldly still but not intruding further:: I see. I will not intrude on the dwelling of a simple girl...no noble samurai such as myself would do that! ::He had a flair for melodrama, didn't he...? -- Then he'd squint at her:: But I ask...what kind of girl, especially a young one as yourself, lives in a cave when there is a perfectly hospitable town just down the mountains? And why didn't those ravenous wolves sniff you out and devour you? ::He wasn't one to stop until his curiosity had been completely sated, obviously::
Choirelite: Wolves? ::As luck would have it those wolves were her current food source. There were a few more of them when she had first arrived. If he had finished them all off it would not be long before she would have to feed on the human's livestock.:: They are unable to make the climb to my home. Tis too steep. And they fear fire. ::She peeks behind her into the darkness, hoping there would be a way to get away... she did not like being in a warrior's presence considering his species.::
Ryouma: ::His curiosity was turning into frustration...:: These wolves have descended and ascended the entire mountain to reach the village and eat its people for days! Surely they could make it up this short distance...I was fighting them but on your doorstep! I ask again: How is it that the wolves did not bother you? ::Frustration was turning into suspicion...::
Choirdelite: ::A small wince of frustraition showed on her face.:: ... I do nay know... They fear fire. I use it to ward them off. ::She stated walking back slow again, his anger warding HER off.::
Ryouma: ::A sneer curled his lips, and he briskly turned around and began to walk away.:: I do not associate myself with liars! If fire were so effective, the villagers would have no problems keeping the wolves at bay.
Choirdelite: Oh! Tis very true! ::She smiles at his departure. Without thinking she adds.:: Tis just that those humans are stupid. Unable to figure it out tis all. ^^ Good day to ye. ::She turns her back and wanders into the darkness. She doesn't really trust completely that he will not return so she darts several meters further and snatches up her sais. She was not very skilled at all with these weapons but it was easy to carry so she had them. As is, it was all she owned besides a leather tunic and skirt that she always wore. She returned outside the edge of the darkness, still able to see, her species being a mostly nocternal type.::
Ryouma: ::He found it even more pathetic that she tolerated---even seemed happy about--being called a liar! And so he walked out, ready to never see this sad excuse for a person again...until he heard "those humans are stupid..." when outside in the sun again. Whirling about he darted back in, katana drawn with the sound of a clean metallic slash!:: You, creature! Prepare yourself!
Choirdelite: Cr-Creature? ::Being in the darker deeper part of the cave she was shouded perfectly. she realised what she said but tried to figure a way to get out of this. She seemed to have to do this often.:: I am nay a creature..I am a normal peasant girl ^^. My name is um...Deedlit. Ye...will go aye? I do nay want to fight ye.>_<
