heh, its not like i'm already on a career path to be a professional ski bum. but its always a good falback job for college. i'm planning on going to western states in colorado. right near crested boute, i'm getting certified this year for both skiing andbowarding. because i hear out west its almost required to be certified just to be conicidered.

well. my day was pretty much scrapped, i had absolutly no transportation to my girlfriends house, so we spent half the day on the phone wondering how the helll we could meet up. around 7pm we just gave up on trying to get together and work on this project together and i invited her over to watch a movie with me, my sister and her boyfriend. so we watched "the life of david gale". great movie by the way

no skiing for mal this weekend, buddy. mi madre went psycho bitch whore on me this weekend and grounded me. hell, i couldent even drive MY car to MY girlfriends house to work on something for school. how sad is that?

so yeah, i didn't miss much. the whiteface got a foot of snow, but it was mostly wet heavy snow that was hard to push. and then it was below freezing last night and it all turned to ice and today it was OK in some parts, but by the end of the day there was only muggles and ice.

so i dont care if i missed it this weekend. next weekend the area of the mountain i work at starts up and i can finally start working ^_^

i hate some ski racers. in in ny we have a thing called NYSSEF (new york skiing safety education foundation)

well...basically its racing for lil rich shits and yeah, they ignore that "safty" in their name.

seriously, the lil fuckers are taught that they are the "best" skiers on the mountain and that they are allowed to ski fast through any part of the mountain because they have special privaleges because they race.

little do they know that the rest of the staff doesnt think that, and i always enjoy being part of the party that is at the bottom of the hill waiting for that one lil shit that ran down a lil kid earlier and watching as they get their passes suspended and are bannzored from the mountain for a month...

or that one time while i was still volenteering and a racer assrammer went through a lesson and a friend of mine got to take them out (whacked em' with his ski pole in the back of the knees) and shoved snow in the kids face till ski patrol showed up. haha, ski patrol didn't beleive the kid when he complained about what my friend did to him

The reason I started racing was free ski passes on race days, now its out of habit for the most part.

Sugarloaf has a school called CVA, Bode MIller went there. And its alot like the one you mentioned, Rich kids who hang out at the comp center and tune their skis every day and hit gates all morning. Bunch of snobs.

well NYSSEF isn't as chool. and i know of CVA, i read ski magazine ya know. haha, in an article bout it they were talking about how they dont date or anything.

hell, if i had a choice between getting some and skiing. i'd choose getting some. what losers.

well anywho, NYSSEF is more of a program where the kids pay someodd amount of money each season and they get to go race around the eastern US and such and if they're good enough can go around the work and shit, its tight and all, but the coaching is just pathetic
