I got Pink Floyd - The Wall and Radiohead - Hail To The Thief yesterday, neither of which I have really listened to yet. Also, I bought GN'R Lies the day before that. It's not as good as any of the other GN'R albums. I think The Spaghetti Incident? even out-goods it!

*Spunge - Angel With A Pint Glass*

Help, I'm trapped inside this guy's signature!

Katatonia were never black. At most they were doom/death in their old material.

I WENT TO THAT SHOW! When it came through Houston, anyways. I got a bunch of pictures taken; one with Jon Schaffer, one with Alexi Laiho, one with three of the guys from Evergrey, and then I have a bunch of Iced Earth playing. It was a fun night.

NP- Norther-Blackhearted.

You know wgat sucks about Norther? Most of their solos are just practice tricks. Guitarist do such stuff to practice shifting accords and stuff. I don't think that is very original of them.

I'm at my sisters once again and once again I don't have my music with me. What I do have is my friend's Sons Of Northen Darkness album by Immortal. It rocks, all that CoB stuff can't compare to it. I'll be listening to that album a lot in the next few days so I'll know it by heart by the time I get back home.

If words were wisdom, I'd be talking even more.

DID YOU JUST COMPARE IMMORTAL TO CHILDREN OF BODOM!? Two godly bands, uttered in the same sentence, but you try to say one is better than the other? Oh no, my friend, they both are amazing. Immortal was astonishing with "Battles in the North", and Children of Bodom were pretty great themselves with "Something Wild" or "Hatebreeder".

I like them both equally. :\

I need to find the pictures of the Children of Bodom/Nevermore/Dimmu show I went to a while back.

It's especially noticeable around the point where he is saying
"the strangers may they come in ignorance's disguise
so into the dark walking to leave the last of times
kneedeep in desperation to fill the gap behind"

*Dark Tranquillity :P

Anyways, yes, I've noticed that before. Maniac from Mayhem sings/screams like he has a pin stuck in his ass; does anyone else notice that?

I did notice that... it's kinda funny how ll these ppl w/ shitty singing voices have AWESOME screaming voices, like the guy from Nevermore in Everything Invaded especially, he's all Bela Lugosi Dracula voiced up

They sing clearly in parts of that song. There are a couple others, but not many.

best songs by them are Feast of burden, 22 Accecia Avenue, and Insanity's Crescendo

Yes I did. Reread my post if you are not sure.

I fail to see the godliness in Children Of Boddom.

Oh no, my friend, they both are amazing. Immortal was astonishing with "Battles in the North", and Children of Bodom were pretty great themselves with "Something Wild" or "Hatebreeder".

Immortal was always astonishing though their old stuff does lack sound quality you can clearly see that they were good despite the fact that they hardly had any budget. I don't know of many drummers who can play such fast double bass for one song without tiring half to death and their drummers could do that for a whole show.

I like them both equally. :\

I don't and that why I said that Immortal is far better.

That's why opinions are great. You're the first person I've argued with musically and didn't pull out the gay insults; I love you, let's get married?

I got the meaning. I'm sory but I've already married some guy from the politics forum. Boy he sure nows how to throw an argument. But don't worry, we can always go to some lawless country like Somalia and make up our own laws by which three way marriage is o'kay.

Well, I'm back from the concert and my neck and my back hurt a lot :)

IT WAS AWESOME:

ATAGATIS: Well, they were the first, they were okay, nothing special, sounded like a mix of Nightwish and something brutal.

LOST DREAMS: Well, they were called like this, not Dr. Stein. They ROCKED. It was a melodic band with Death vocals and it just rocked, my physical condition went downhill withj this band. I stopped feeling my neck :P

GRAVEWORM: Stunning. Amazing. It rocked, played for more than an hour, it rocked. I had an interesting talk with their bassist after the concert. IT ROCKED

NP: Soilwork - As We Speak

The neck probably hutrts of all the head banging you have surely done. What happened to your back? Too much moshing?

Headbanging, exactly. The back hurts because of kneeing and banging and moshing as well :P It rocked.

Any concert you are going to soon?

Not very son. On the 26th I'm going to the Metalist Festival. It's the second time it's being held, they are trying to make it a tradition. It's going to be real good. There will be at least 1500 people there, two-three bands from abroad and lotsa good local bands. Damn this is the third time I bring this up, it's just that I've been living in expectation for the whole summer.

Has antone here been to any festivals? My dream is to go to Waken.

NP: Immortal - Far Beyond The Northen Waves. I've been listening to it a lot since yesterday and I already know most of it by heart.

I don't want to say too much about this band for worry of getting banned for promoting racism (>.>), but you might want to check out Aryan Terrorism, the side project of Varggoth from Nokturnal Mortum.

Imagine the most crushing NM you've ever heard, but change the lyrics to emphasize white power and national socialism instead of nature and grimness. It's actually a very good listen, providing you're tolerant to NS politics and hatred.
