Well if Emperor is playing in Manhattan i might just have to leave Nova scotia and take a plan ride out there.

It's obviously dumb.

Yeah, and that's what makes it funny.
Ghoul hates it though, because he feels the dumbness is an insult to metal.
Is anyone going to Ozzfest? looks like a decent band listing this year

I'm ashamed.
I've been busy listening to the new Sonata Arctica album, Unia, which I downloaded earlier today. It's great overall, and more progressive than anything else they've done. I like Reckoning Night slightly more, though.
Sorry but I found it to be slightly... boring. I think they have been going downhill their past few albums.

When I first read this post, I was going to flame the shit out of you because for the past couple years, Ozzfest has sucked. Then I went to the site and looked at the bands...pretty good.
Behemoth...Nile...Lamb of God...Three Inches of Blood....other passable bands..
I guess it depends on whether or not I feel like putting myself through Hatebreed and In This Moment.
Hey guys, I was in Vienna for the last few days, it was great and I bought a Motörhead shirt :)

is that bloodstock?? cos im going to that :D but plus side dream evil and korpiklaani are playing :D plus arch enemy and in flames which are good ones to have seen :P

Haha, I do check the shelves thoroughly. Sometimes, I have to check the rock/pop section incase they put some metal bands there instead of the metal section (e.g. seeing Masterplan in rock/pop in Virgin and seeing Dream Theater in music A - Z in Music Zone).

Cheer up, you can still go and see Trivium. :P

Yeah... I can't stand Dream Evil, Korpiklaani I'm not keen of cause of the vocals (I want Týr esque vocals :D). Arch Enemy are 'meh' in my opinion, and In Flames aren't worth going for, though I do like them... but meh, I saw them at Download last year, and I'm not too fussed to see them again.
On the plus, its more booze money for Download :D.

I am going to see Trivium you turd :P. Less than a week (Friday :D).

That seems like such a fun thing to go to. But even if I lived in your crazy ass country, I would probably still manage to be too broke to go, regardless.
RoseSOAS: you should know i dont think this far ahead
Me made simple: well you already thought as far as holding a chicken while in your underwear

You don't have to. They set up other booths for you to do stuff in. They have game booths, and stuff like that.
Here I am, bored with everything.
Yeah Gendo but while your from sydney way up north im from cape island way down south.

Can't you take a plane down here?

nah i love dream evil :P what dont you like about them? i suppose maybe vocals can wear abit thin. Korpiklaani are not a band i take seriously with tracks like Beer Beer and Happy Little Boozer its gonna be something more for the experience, and Arch Enemy yes a meh but a band i would like to cross off the list and In Flames i have only seen once and really enjoyed the show so it should be alright. As its looking BOA should be fun but i think im gonna try and organise my mates to get to wacken next year :P seeing as there is no black metal at Bloodstock (some really shitty bands on the bill >:( )

That's exactly what I'm saying. What do you think I did when Bleeding Through came on stage? I ran to the video games booth!

what kind of games do they have?

Anything for the PS2, Xbox, PSP, DS, Gamecube, anything.
This year they might have the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and others.
I played the Guitar Hero II demo last year.

Epic.

Well which one?
Augury is fuckin' =| btw. and by that I mean downright dead serious tech metal.
Hey. Sorry I havn't been around much.... Oh, you don't care anyway. =P
Finally got Cannibal Corpse's 'Kill'. More of a discography collectable than something I really wanted, but I guess it's not bad. Nice technicality that early CC doesn't focus much on.... Nice clean production, but nothing special, as you can tell from Ghoul's 55% rating of the album on MA. Listening to Dream Theater's 'Awake' again. Learned the bass line to '6:00'.... Is niiiiice.
Borat's rubbing off on me.
NOT!!!!
........ God dammit.
Zombiphoria news..... One more vocal track to do and then it's mixing time for the demo. I don't think I'm going to follow up with Zombiphoria though, it was more of a time waster than anything real. It was good to learn the ropes of recording, but I'm craving someone to tell me what to play. I want my old punk rock band from last year back..... I'm pretty sure we'll get back together next year, I had a good connection with the rhythm guitarist.
