Good, but I don't plan to get the TLE albums yet. Maybe I will once I have all Dream Theater studio albums.

'twas Countdown to Extinction. However, according to some sources, it's their "sellout" album.
Did I make a mistake? Should I have gotten Peace Sells... or Rust in Peace instead, or am I fine?
I don't think you made a mistake. Countdown to Extinction is great, but all their earlier albums are better.

I knew that months ago, I like the song and I also like Sleepwalker, so fuck you all.

Risk is the worst album I've ever heard along with The Crusade and Roots, but at least I gave Risk a try.
Bop. Bop. Bop. Another one grinds the dust.
My grindcore project with Ghoul is going pleasantly. Just pleasantly.

Funnily enough, one of my favourite albums. It is my favourite of the 2 Necrophagist albums, and contains my favourite song ever written; Only Ash Remains.
It is impossible to not cum your pants listening to the bass intro.

Wait a sec, no it's not! Where the fuck is he, I havn't talked to him for about a week! Has he been here recently? I had to email him just to keep the contact, I'm still trying to find a way to give him the songs without actually waiting an hour for the email to upload it.

I liked it. I dunno maybe I have a broader taste, im not sure, but I find it quite enjoyable to listen to, because im currently going through a phase where I dont mind listening to some pop every now and then, but it's mostly pop from my early childhood, nostalgia and all that.

I was actually saying that because that's the song I'm going to do for my Language Arts project. I was just too stoned to explain what I meant. It took me almost two days to figure out it was about somebody dying and that someone was speaking in memory of that person.

Same here. For the kind of music it is, Risk isn't a bad album. Sure, it's not metal, but so what? That doesn't automatically make it bad.
I think a big part of the reason people hate it is because they see it as a "sell out" album, rather than listening to it with an open mind. If it had been released under a different name, it probably wouldn't be hated so much.

I never knew that. Of course I never paid any attention to lyrics in a death metal band, specifically Necrophagist, just because Muhammad wants you to concentrate on the instruments.
Here I am, bored with everything.
What's everyone's favorite Cryptopsy song? I never really liked them but since a lot of people do, I though I might be hearing the wrong songs. Suggestions?

I've listened to it several times and seen it performed live, and my pants remained strain free.
Then again, the only reason I care for Necrophagist is for the sweetly technical guitar riffs in there vast quantity :).

The song is called Epitaph..... its pretty obvious really... considering the definiton of an epitaph.
And yeah, it doesn't help that you can't understand the lyrics.

Yeah, but I thought I knew what an epitaph was...I didn't lol. Once the definition is found, and you put the peices together, it is pretty simple. Behemoth, on the other hand, is an ENTIRELY different story....they give me a headache.

My favorite Cryptopsy song is Phobophile. I have Once Was Not and None So Vile and there really aren't that many songs off those albums that I particularly like. They just bore me, despite that they have an excellent drummer (Flo) and Lord Worm, who's a great lyricist.

I just got Lamentations on DVD through Netflix.
Mikael has the talent of singing death metal without looking like he's taking a large shit.

My mom doesn't watch any, really. Especially since I can get things that are illegal for 18 year olds.
I practically have the account to myself.
I finally gave in and saw it.
Meh, I would have never bothered. I think I saw something like ''In Her Shoes'' with some girl I wanted to have. I swear, I was WAY over my head. That made me walk out.
I vomited.
I never saw the girl again.
GOME.

WELCOME!
I love this place. It's like the school of metal, filled with fellow metalheads.
Since I was here, I bought 5 albums off recommendations. Tyr, Persuader, Tankard. Plus listened to a lot more black metal and death.
