Those two bands (along with Rhapsody, Vital Remains and Gorgoroth) are what got me into metal in the first place.
For some reason, I have been listening to Destroyer 666 - Unchain the Wolves obsessively today. I've played it all the way through for about 6 times at least...man, I really need to listen to something else.

I've listened to "The Horde" by Tankard around 7 times today.

False positives are bands who are often listed by mallcore kiddies in hopes of getting in. Oftentimes, they're no indicator of whether that person actually listens to metal or is more oriented towards numetal. Therefore, they're neutral -- neither good nor bad, just not a good indicator. Basically, it means popular bands that are so popular that non-metalheads listen to them.

agreed, its not fair, in america we have the bamboozle, lollapalooza, crap like that
We have the fucking big day out...god that sucks ass, its pretty much a combination of rap, gay rock and nu metal. I would rather goto a classical music festival..
Us Europeans are pretty spoilt for choice when it comes to metal fests. Bloodstock, Inferno, Sauna open air, Tusca open air, Ozzfest if you're in that kinda mood, Jalometalli, Hellflame, Walpurgis metal days, Queens of metal and of course the amazing Wacken. Not to mention the many more smaller festivals all over the place.
Kinda feel sorry for you Americans.

So I take it you aren't aware of the several metal festivals that Australia has throughout the year?
;)

If you ever decide to put the laziness aside, check out their albums:
(in order of my preference)
The Fourth Dimension
The Final Chapter
Hypocrisy
Abducted
Obsculum Obscenum
Here I am, bored with everything.
Im not sure but people are telling me the lead vocalist from man'o war just commited suicide if this is true R.I.P Eric.

Also Virus is worth checking out; it's my favorite melodic death CD by Hypocrisy. I would say their worst album is Catch-22, which just never really stuck out to me.

Pretty much everything.
The only music I absolutely cannot stand are whiney little emo cunts and MC'ing.
obsculum obscenum and hypocrisy are definatly good Hypo albums and for Sonata Arctica i would recommend Ecliptica and Winter Hearts Guild and Silence, in that order :P although there is a new album "Unia" coming soon o0o0o0o0o0o0o
outside of metal i delve into Dark ambient and other noise/ambient music, tis very good to veg out too :P

OK, I'll check out some of their songs from that album when I'm in the mood to do so. Now, I'm checking out Running Wild. So far, I'm enjoying them.

Prog (Mars Volta, Coheed and Cambria, Radiohead...)
Pop (Michael Jackson, Madonna, Air Supply...)
Acoustic (John Frusciante, Jeff Buckley...)
Comedy (Weird Al, Monty Python, South Park....)
Rock (Chili's, The Darkness Led Zeppelin, Queen...)

You have a point, but I do think that people saying "false positive" to such bands when a person's list has a ton of other metal is stupid.
When I first started listening to metal it was pretty much all Motorhead, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, all "false positives", even though I never listened to nu-metal or any mallcore stuff.
In my opinion the "false positive" thing should only apply if the persons' list has no (or hardly any) other metal.
