The reason I dont like punk is because all it is is power chords and some screaming then crying then screaming again. The reason I like metal is they have thought out guitar riffs drums all instruments do their part not just the singer and the singer kicks ass as well.

Well, there are some exceptions with bands that are thrash metal they sometimes just hit random shit, IT STILL SOUNDS COOL THOUGH.

You know, Stoner metal really isn't all that you hype it up to be. It's not a "real" genre in the sense of doom metal, death metal, black metal, thrash metal, heavy metal, or speed metal.

It's an offshoot of heavy metal and doom metal really. Yeah I like Pink Floyd too but that doesn't detract from my metalness.

I am a recreational user of marijuana =) I'm not much for Stoner Metal though. I'm more of Death Metal type of dude. Some would argue that death metal high is scary. Me, I just sit there and boby my head up and down just goin' with the flow.

Guys, I want to check out Moonspell's "Memorial". I heard it's very good. Any opinions?

It is pretty kickass. They have an instrumental memento mori ythat sounds great. I think you can listen to the video Luna on youtube but its live though. Very good indeed. They have some female songgers oin there to that give it a nice little odd feel it kicks ass man. I highly reccomend it. Id give it about a4 on a scale of 1-5.
