I don't know if you know this, but vocals barely decide a music genre. It's the instruments and riffing. COB have lots of speed metal riffs, yes, making them half speed. But the mix of all the keyboards and such make them all together mostly power metal with speed metal influence.

According to some guy in Norway, there is no such thing as Power Metal with harsh vocals, and Childrenof Bodom and Norther are not Power Metal.

theres a reason nobody talks about him. there are a ton of people that have passed away deserve more conversation. like quorthon or valfar or mieszko talarczyk to name a few.
