A few years ago, I was into Godsmack and I could still remember that one riff. So I tried, got the Godsmack song again and there it was, the same riff, just 5 years earlier.

it seems COB have deteriorated into simplistic power mallcore. I hate to admit it, and they used to be fucking awesome, but their music has now done the same thing to power metal that mallcore has done to regular metal. The lyrics are plain shit, too. I mean, In Your Face? COME ON!!! At least you used to be able to take them seriously, with songs like Kissing the Shadows, Bed of Razors, Mask of Sanity, Black Widow, etc... So they've deteriorated musically and lyrically. I can understand how some would like their new stuff, but I don't. It's like how I can understand how some would like Slipknot, but I really hate them.

Man... The band Tomb of.. just begged me to become a reguler member. He, Andreas, 23, owner of the bands Paleshift, Frozenglare, Tomb of and many more, begging ME. To be part of his demo coming out in September. Him, that metal archive has rated with a 93%!!!!!! A fucking 93!!!!
I cant believe it. Or he wants to get in my pants or I will soon wake up.

I will vote for the latter. Sex is a huge motivator for guys. The only thing I can brag about is that about 100 shitty garage bands have asked me to be their lead guitarist.

Some really good bands there, some good nu metal ones too. Id say you might be in, but it not up to me.

Been listenin to some dark funeral, very good black metal in my opinion, for once i didnt get bored, and it was a good production too :D

yeah, the only bands ive heard of that were any good with funeral in the name are funeral mist and carpathi en funerali, and the second one is a local band from colorado, so you proly haven't heard of em.
