I listened to 'As Autumn Passes' (is it passes? I think it was)... anyway the first track and I thought it was a well recorded guitar piece. Sounded nice and I thought 'Hmm I'll listen to it all'. Then I listened to the next track and turned it off :(.

Ulver were once a very good Black Metal band. For there first 3 albums that is.

After that they went to Film scoring and Avant-Garde/Electronic stuff.

What do you guys think the perfect run time of a song is? I got in a debate with a friend of my today...

He says the perfect runtim for a song is 3 minutes and 6 - 8 minutes for an "Epic" song.

I said 4 - 6 minutes for an ordinary song and 9 - 14 minutes for an immaculate song.

What do you guys think?
