i've been listening to a lot of kalmah and 3 inches of blood. it's nice to have some straight-up metal as a break from all the experimental and avant-garde i've been listening to as of late.

1. Props for the Behemoth reference. Me and a buddy of mine got a crowd chanting that before they came out (at the last concert I went to :(). Smallish crowd (<1000) but still cool.

I think that you might be interested in "Within Y" - I haven't listened to the band in ages and I'm not sure HOW technical they were, but you can still try.
