Who are you to decide what constitutes a song? Or are you going to pull out an arbitrary mathematical formula for the literal definition of song? Because what a song consists of is subjective, and as such is not susceptible to false generalizations or mathematical beauty, unless the individual chooses to apply it as such. Production is part of an aesthetic, because you are hearing it within the context of the song. I don't give a shit about rough production or not, but if the artist decides for it to be there I will take it into account as part of a whole. I fail to see a problem, as I'm sure you don't mind clean production as part of a power metal aesthetic.

Anyways, Im here to say that nile is yet again amazing in my eyes. Just how they manage to use the same sound EVERY time yet make it sound awesome is amazing. LIke the guitars almost the exact same riffage structure yet you never get tired of it.
