If you like some more of that stuff, try Carnal Forge.

I don't know it myself, but I only heard good things about their live performances.

Oh snap, and here I return to the Metal Hell.

Sorry about my leave, but I fell pretty sick, hah. However, it wasn't so bad, I guess. The new Pig Destroyer CD I ordered came in last Thursday. And wow.

Terrifyer is the greatest grindcore album I've ever heard. If you like PxDx or grindcore in general, do yourself a favor and check it out. It's not just noise anymore; death metal riffs, crashing grind drums, and JR's pain-and-suffering screams. What more could you want?

Yeah, Pig Destroyer is one of the best grindcore bands around, have to check that release out.

So, has still no one heard of Behemoth?

Yep, I love them, got their complete discography, Thelema.6 is maybe my favourite album, though demigod is really good, they made somg ogg black metal on their earlier albums too, though i prefer their death sound that they have more now.

It's wonderful. The audio-DVD track Natasha is good, too, but it's different; it's a very atmospheric, doomy song. Not that there's anything wrong with atmospheric doom.

Holy mother of christ, I only heard 3 parts of "Crimson II" yet and I'm already so hooked, that I'd immediately buy all of Edge of Sanity's albums. I just wrote Dan Swanö a mail how much i love that thing and on which songs he handles the vocal duties.

If you haven't heard of Edge of Sanity yet, YOU MUST get "Crimson II". Dan Swanö(if you don't know that mastermind, consider yourself uneducated) handles ALL instruments himself. He sings and growls in about half of the songs and he has a few guest musicians. It's one of the best things I have heard in my ENTIRE life and if I don't get this album fast, I'm going to die.

I'll have to look for it then, it sounds good.

Indeed. He mixed everything perfectly together. Death, Progressive and tons of great melodies. And amazing clean and growling vocals.

It shouldnt be that bad, only cost me about £2 per album I think.

Also to all those british Metal heads among us, You need to go to the following concerts:
A multi headliner called "Swedish Apocalypse" 17th of December, London Forum:
Arch Enemy
The Haunted
Dark Tranquillity.

And a one-off show, 26th December, Hammersmith Apollo in London:
In Flames
supported by:
Lacuna Coil
Chimaira
Caliban

Unmissable!

So, what's up guys? I'm rarely at home, going out every day :) Any news?

Response to Metal Hell 2004-10-31 17:18:25

What a way to spend my Halloween.

I'm listening to Helloween, and tonight I'm going out "trick or treating" in pigtails, corpsepaint and my Sonata Arctica t-shirt. An odd mixture, but hey. That's why Halloween is so great; you can merge anything and still get away with it. Haha.

Show them please :)

I'm going to see my girlfriend next weekend, most likely, haven't seen her in more than a month.....

I'm recently some more into the wicked stuff like Cannibal Corpse, Vomitory and Entombed.

So, what do you guys listen to all the time right now?

So what does everyone think of the bands in the battle for Ozzfest?

I think they're all great. But I really think Ozzy is really selling out now. Selling out to MTV is one of the worst ways one could sell out.

yeh a background would be good, im not sure what though cos as much as something really artisit etc would be good it would take up space and make the site run slower for us dial up users, and also out of interest is the music taken from your own CD collection or have you taken bits from other sources etc.

Well, Ozzy's last album, "Down to Earth" was very successful in the mainstream, yet it was the classic Ozzy. I think he can do whatever he wants.

Anyone of you likes Annihilator?

They don't make my jaw drop either, but I enjoy their music, good ol' trash.

But I'm so much into Edge of Sanity now, Dan Swanö is amazing, I mean, he even replies to my e-mails =P
