I dont really mess around with newgrounds too much, except for the audio, thats why Im at such a low level. I was buzzing through the forum, and this caught my eye.

Cool Rye, and welcome...we are trying to start little things to get this club goin. Like a contest or something. Gota idea? We need more overall posts, like we have some really serious members but we need more. Maybe ranking, but i dont know how ill manage doin that...
The only idea that I have is a song that everyone works on, sort of like the ng jam but in music... I don't know how we could do that but it would be a cool idea. I'll post more if I come up with any more ideas.

Yeah that has been discussed a little bit, no one has taken the intiative to start it.
Ok guys, to get more members im gonna try to change what out first post says. I will put rules ans shit on it heres what i have so far VOTE ON IT:
This is Audio Joint, the Club dedicated to improve the quality of the Audio Portal. We are a group of talented artists and music lovers who think that their music or ideas need to be heard. We have some simple rules here:
1. Don’t advertise for other Clubs or Crews in this topic.
2. Music is music; don’t give people shit about music styles you don’t like.
3. Be a critic, but try not to be an asshole. Everybody loves to get constructive criticism.
4. No flaming or spamming, unlike some clubs flaming fights are very offensive to people who want their reviews/ideas heard.
5. Don’t beg for a vote, if your music is worth it we will make sure you aren’t too low.
6. Everyone can be a member, just ask.
Now if you have a new song you’d like to have looked at make sure to give a link or mention your Newgrounds profile. You are welcome to post reviews in this club along with normal ones.
Ranking:
You will be ranked upon your participation in this forum and your music. You will go under a nomination and vote from your peers. When all members have voted you will be put in your rank. Please make sure to state what instrument you play if any. Now I know these may sound corny but they are directly related to what we love to do, make music.

hey its me, yeah wow. i'm actually posting. This thing is growing pretty nicely, we may be onto something. (TOLD YOU CALEB :) ). I just submitted some audio for once....its not the greatest but Im tired and a little sick but fuck it, inspiration hit me so oh well. when you listen to it, think about sitting around on a hot boring summer day with a couple of your friends. I'll check back soon, its off to nighty night now.

Axe that is a great idea for like special awards cause its insanly hard to get Plat...I only know one person that has done it, Rage VI and his shit is awesome..

Yeah, I just got home from school and I think that the ranking system is pretty cool. The one thing I'm confused about is how we get those ranks. Obviously mineowrker mad the crew so he is lead singer, but what about the other ones. Do we ask for them or are they appointed. I'm obviously a noob on this subject, but I just wanted some clarification.

The ranks are determined on how active you are in the club, I believe. It seems pretty cool, although I think that there could stand to be a few more of them. You know what? I just thought of something cool. You could have different ranks for different people in here, let me explain:
First, there are the people in here that actually make audio music. Therefore, they could have the Musician Ranks. Then there are people like me that just like to listen to it, that could have a different set of ranks.

Axe thats a great idea, but I dont have much expirience in that field. Would you mind making something that we could use or giving me ideas?
For the other ranks... it could be back stage kind of ranks. Like Back stage manager, Sound Guy, Light guy etc

I think that your quality of music puts you higher in ranking, but i dont want to nominate you because its really the other club members decision. Try to convince them of the rank you want...sorta like a political campaign. I would be interested in making a joint project with you...lets get some ideas together...

for setting up the ranks we should use the other Audio Joint forum just so this one doesnt get too sloppy. I can make a new board called "Nominations and Rank Requests." let me know what you guys think.
for all you new guys, i'll introduce myself. I helped mineworker set up alot of stuff for the club and earlier i was pretty active. you won't be seeing me often due to school, job, etc. but i will try to post at least once a day and come out with some new audio at least once a week. lets get this club off the ground, we're onto something here.

Not really, but I could do that for you if you like since there aren't very many pages to this club yet. That would be a bitch to keep track of though. I tried that with the NG Army, I got to page 31 and quit. I still have 500+ pages to go....

wow, i really like your music robbis. In the night is really cool. One question though- tech 3 sounds exactly like the music in Chip's Challenge. Did you make that from scratch?
