That's pretty cool, just work on it more. I haven't tried to submit audio again but I will soon once I record more. I use WMA--> Wav converter.
wow, it's great to see more and more people are becoming interested! keep on posting, start showing off your work, and just talk audio. i know i said this before but i've got a busy shedule- me and mineworker are going to come up with some structure to this club pretty soon, so for now check out our new website and forums, which will be revamped soon, make a few posts, yada yada yada. let's give this portal the credit it deserves, together we can change it!

Glad you liked Fruity Loops, once you get the hang of it you can make some pretty killer stuff.
Also, I made a whole topic about everything I think the Audio Portal should be updated with.
Liljim said that they have big plans for the Audio portal, and they will be updating it.
Here are some side notes I would like to inform you all of;
1) Sending a letter to Tom wouldn't do much at the moment, he is still working on the consol Video Game last I checked.
2) Newgrounds has been known to have great ideas to do something, but never go through with it, such as Pico 2.
3) You would have a better chance at getting something done by either E-Mailing Wade or Liljim!

okay, a little last minute there mineworker, lol.
theres a really good progrem out there, it's called audacity. with this program you take and/or record tracks and compile them to a single track. so you can say, take an already existing song w/o drums and add drums to, or compile a track with all of your own tracks. you can even import wavs and mp3s made with drum loop programs. pretty cool. me and my band use this one for recording our songs, and the quality turns out surprisingly good. all of my tracks are made with audacity. it takes a little getting used to, i still havent tweaked everything, but if you play with it long enough, it can be a powerful program. i'll try to work on the new website tonight, but seeing that mineworker took off for a bit, there won't be much on it.

Damn it, someone voted down my Garbage Can Dreams from 5 to 4, now I usually wouldn't care, 4 is still a good score, reason I am pissed is it is ranked number 76 or something for its overall score, it is no longer on the front page!!!!
Why is this you ask? Some Asshat known as CyberDevil submits tons and tons of 1 second loops to the audio portal in the same catogory as my song was submited, there are so many of them, they almost take up the whole front page.
He votes 5 on all of his stuff and there are so many, no one takes the time to vote all of them down.
The loops are simple loops made in E-Jay I could put together in around 1 min each if that!

I think it was him who voted down my song, because he didn't like seeing my song as number one.

If you don't like his work then by all means, vote what you think it should get, but if you make a point to lower everyone of his songs, and talk about it in the forums at Newgrounds, the mods will lock it.

mineworker, even techno loops are a form of music. you can vote what you would like on them, but calling for a club blam is unfair and in my opinion, rather corrupt. btw, i'm not finished with the forum, thats why it was in maintenance mode.

Just read the current topic... im going to go anc check out this guys music.. if i dont like it and dont think its appropeate i will vote it down... if its ok i may mark it up... but either way ive got quite a bit of voting power so here goes.
OK i checked out CyberDevils work and yes... even cyber loops are a credited and fair form of music... but a lot of them still sucked! I voted fairly and put some donw while a few of them i out up deserving as they were... however in the letter im writing im going to surgest a catagory for loops... because they do just waste space of songs!

I know he does nake the music and that I wasnt thinking corectly, but I still think this guy is a menace to all who really work hard on their songs.

it basicaly surggested:
An audio portal resemebeling thr flash portal.. for importance and recognition
A save/blam system
and a seperate catagory for Loops...
these methods improve the portal... cut out crap.. and give loops their own section, clearing the way for songs and letting flash artists find loops easier :D
okay everybody, i took i want to explode's letter and revised it. it was pretty good. before we send it out, i want everybody to see it and agree with the contents. well...everybody at the moment being me, mineworker, i want to explode, and baron von bad guy. if it clears, then i want to explode, you can go ahead and do the honors of emailing it. just find the audio approval thread in the general board, and the head of the audio portal should have a post in there.

Hehe, I just reviewed one of Cyber Devils songs.
It seems as though he hit rock bottom, he now even submited a Punk-O-Matic song, which is bad enough, but he made it into a two seconf loop...
It is really getting out of hand.

Yeah this is pretty good for using old loops...umm Im guessing thats your voice, try to work your way to a lower pitch if possible.

it wasn't my voice all the time, the real bad english with: let's get this shit roughed up again was my friend, he wanted to be in it but it didn't worked out very well. As for the Drums, that's true, i made it a little bit too long. and BASIC RHYTMIC LESSONS?! WTF?! i play drums MYSELF!!!!! lol!
