I was saddened when I didn't find a page for me, I was figuring it had a page for regular members.

You have to be rather notable to have a page, regulars aren't notable. Mods, Flash "Gods", and users that did something news worthy (Such as Sirtom, LiveCorpse, and Regret) get pages.
2 hours
I spend 2 hours making a beautiful article. It had links, references, images, details.
And then my network connection crashes, destroying all the work.
I need two things
1) To remember to draft pages on a word processor.
2) A hug.

1) As I advised Tyler, you can make the Page in stages and save it as you go along. We are not Wikipedia and it really doesn't matter if people see a half-made Page for half an hour. Beware of navigating away from the Page while you are writing it, that is my favourite mistake.
2) E-HUG!!
3) I look forward to seeing the Page...
Sorry for the double-post, but I came to say something and had to respond to Salnax.
Notability in Numbers?
Is an author to be considered Notable purely on the number of submissions they have got through judgement?
At present, Inferno Kitty's page is a candidate for deletion because he fits no other criteria, so this must be resolved. My instinct has always been to ignore number of subs because it panders to spammers, however:
1. If someone gets through judgment hundreds of times, presumably they will get noticed.
2. Getting them all through judgment requires some kind of skill and comitment, even if it is the 'wrong' kind
3. If you can get Notable solely for the number of Reviews you have and solely for the Rank you have, then why would the stat Number of Subs through Judgment not be considered?
I imagine the figure we would go for would still not cover Inferno anyway.
Please give your thoughts here

I think it it's submissions and they get a high enough number, they should be considered notable or get notable on the basis that what they did is amazing. I say this because for this to be possible, many people would probably have to mass vote to get all that spam through.
But you do have a good point when it comes to everything else. Reviews and post may or may not be spamish in nature, but there is no process in which they have to go through in order to be made.

I'm sorry I took a sabbatical month without warning, but now I'm back and I did some work on the recategorization.
And maybe I'll try to get a few last-minute pictures before the new year.
Now the only ones left are Salnax, IncDis, Fire and everyone who wants to contribute.
All we need is for someone to help with promoting & organising this wiki. We have editors, and we have people checking recent edits, but without Salnax and myself contributing doing the monthly changes - doing the monthly competitions, Featured Articles etc, the wiki will not progress as it should.
Salnax and I will NOT do all that unless others help. We just need someone to come ONCE A MONTH and help us in this way. Will someone step in?

I don't know why you are all angry again. Nobody else brings their arguments from Wikigrounds to Newgrounds- only you. You have been ranting and swearing for days now. I left you alone; I gave you the chance to do your own thing. Its up to you. I hope you decide to sort yourself out, you could make it happen.

Nobody.

I don't think you are mad. Nobody thinks you are mad.

You said in the post before that you offered to do the monthly changes - I say that nobody is stopping you and you could make it happen if you want to.
If you don't want to talk to me cos you think I give you a hard time talk to the other admin. Inclusivedisjunction, Fire, Salnax, Hibiscus Kazeneko, Spaintendo.
I
hate to just barge in but
http://newgrounds.wikia.com/wiki/Bigbadr on
"He was probably the most recognized mod on the BBS, and the most hated. In one news post, he admitted that he would ban people for trivial reasons, including bad spelling and poor tastes in music and films"
The link to the newspost is broken (extra | at the end), but most importantly the paragraph is incorrect because the same news post clearly states it was an April Fools joke post.

It doesn't matter that he hasn't been on, like Incdis, he may choose to reply if you leave him a message. Many people still have an e-mail sent to them if a message is left on their Talk page, even if they never edit any more.
Salnax,he sez him tking brake
- so am I, but like Salnax, I check in a little- he edited a few days ago.
Hibiscus Kazeneko, hmm nvr sawded him eddit.
- Its a SHE and you may be better PM ing her on Newgrounds- she is our Moderator specialist.

What does this "go home" mean? It doesn't sound very nice.
We in the Club- the regular editors of Wikigrounds - tend to get wrapped up in what goes on on Wikigrounds. It is easy to forget that when we are not doign or creating much, people are still visiting and using the site in their thousands. Whilst it is a tad frustrating that we have struggled to keep the momentum going in creating the Pages, our great work in the past two years is bringing yet more and more people to Wikigrounds. Take a look at this graph of visitors to the site provided my Quantcast. It shows that despite the fact that our work has slowed down and we have done little to promote the site, we have established ourselves so well that we are STILL becoming more popular- Go for it guys!
Please forgive the double post - its all part of the statistics review to assess where we are:
This graph shows last month with steady hundreds of views until WHAM in one week everybody came to see....
... ??? I have no idea what everybody came to see !
Something made everyone go and investigate Newgrounds subjects in that week - any ideas? We still have relatively little idea what brings people to Wikigrounds- Please give us your thoughts - it influances how we create the encyclopedia.
It came to me shortly after I posted the second graph- it isn't March, as I had thought without looking, it is just AFTER the 31st of March. Apparently people got curious about April Fools day, or Tom's joke that was a joke because it wasn't a joke this year- and Yes, we do have a page about April Fools day on Newgrounds.
We are not creating much lately, just tinkering with the hundreds of Pages we already have, but we are still in the 1pic project, so if anyone wants to be a Monthly Winner in April, just put a second pic onto a few of the Pages that have only 1pic.
End of the Month
Glad to see a bit of work being done lately. I especially note the return of Salnax. I have posted a blog about the Monthly Changes, spelling out the process. You don't have to be admin to help and helping run the wiki is a sure way to get to be admin if you want.
Changing the Featured Article and announcing the latest Monthly Winner, then the new Monthly Theme, is an essential part of promoting and improving our wiki. By showing people what the wiki needs we have massively improved it in the last two years and we are now well on the way to our next target of
500 Good Pages
Salnax has been working on a new category of Dramatic Movies- the serious ones. He aims to produce 20 of them in May and for the wiki to make its 500 Page target by the end of May.
After tonight I will be off Wikigrounds for a few days, but when I come back I will be creating some quality pages- come and join in.
You could:
* Make a Page about a Weekly Ist or Tank Award submission
* Make a Page about B/P Ranking- we have one for Experience
* Make a Page about any of the Mods that don't already have a Page
* Join in the Monthly Theme which will be announced here in a few days
* Create a submission about Wikigrounds- the publicity would be great!
* Explore the Wiki and give us your thoughts
Its going to be an exciting few weeks !!
The Latest News
1. As fast as new Pages are made, we are deleting unwanted Pages, at the moment. This is because we want to have 500 GOOD pages, not just any old crap. I intend to write a Page about Submission, but I don't know what to say- what do people want to know about Submission?
2. Tyler is at last about to be made admin. Becuase of his rough past, I have made him jump thorugh a few hoops, but yeah, he's been a model editor lately. Beware spammers, I doubt he will be as patient as me!
3. I have done a little work on the Monthly Theme - Newgrounds in the media. I have created a page about YouTube and how it connects with Newgrounds. Today I added a bit of data about how certain NG movies get posted beyond NG. However, I want someone to beat me, to put together a lot more info about NG in the media.
4. I go away for five days tomorrow, but don't think the Wiki isn't guarded, Salnax and Tyler are around.
5. I am preparing a new Submission to celebrate 500 Pages on Wikigrounds. It is being made in conjuction with my crew, the Dragons & Spirits. They have viewed it and I am making it the first new official DS sub in years. Due out just after 500 Pages. If you want a preview, go to my deviantArt page. It is called DS 500 Pages.
Great Pages and Great Editors
Our old friend Inclusivedisjunction fixed the Main Page bit on Most Visited Pages, which has, since Wikia changed format, shown the actual number of vsits each page has had from the day of changeover.
This shows some interesting statistics- thousands of visits for many pages- over 18 K visits to the main page and a few of my favourites that either I created or I worked on a lot- which feels good.
I would like to congratulate Salnax in particular for the work he has put into creating some good quality pages that feature in the Top 50- Madness, History of Newgrounds, Doodle God etc. If the Pages are good quality and interesting, then people will come back and turn to us for info more and more- if the pages only tell people what they already know and do it in an unattractive way, they won't bother and won't become editors.
Talking of visits, we outdid ourselves, with the blip for the Tank Awards being even higher and more sustained than the blip of visits for April Fools day, so well done Salnax again for making and maintaining the Tank Awards Page. Really it needs more help- we need a paragraph of info to go with the basic winners for each year.
Well, we reached 500 articles, were mentioned by Tom in a front page news post, we apparently have 21 pages of 10,000 bytes or more, not counting non-article pages, and last month, we had almost 8,000 visitors.
Sweet.

Yes indeed. I am now semi-retiring from Wikigrounds, which means I will drop by once a month. I need to get on with my writing. I hope you will all support Salnax, who is doing a great job here. He narrowly beat me in last month's Monthly Theme competition- Newgrounds in the Media, tipping it with a last minute Page.
We are very patient with people, trying to encourage the best out of them; however, our patience is not infinate. We have just banned someone for 6 months for spamming the Main Page, along with a number of stupid stunts. Next stop permaban. People who spam can turn good- we have seen it more than once on Wikigrounds because we give people the chance to do so. Banning people often makes them worse.
I am off to Scotland now for a well-earned break with my lovely girlfriend. No internet!
Thanks to Tom, Tyler, Salnax and Joey.
Maybe someone might look at the graphs on Quantcast and see if there was a blip around the day of 500 and Toms Post- if so, put it up here!
If you are reading this - POST, COMMENT- we want honest feedback!
See you in August at the London Meet if you can make it!
Looking back over the past couple of months, I've noticed that Wikigrounds's biggest day ever was June 3, after Tom mentioned us on the front page. Over 500 visitors in one day. The second biggest was Pico Day 2011, and the third is April Fools Day, both with slightly under 500. Our average day is around 250 visits.
Just last January, we had never reached 200 views in a day.
We are making progress. Wikigrounds is steadily becoming a valuable source of information, and all it takes is a bit of work from us.
Watch a music video, laugh at it, and write up an article for it on Wikigrounds. Let's make a great encyclopedia.
Guys, I'm really sorry about the last week or so. My browser just goes crazy whenever I try to edit anything on Wikigrounds, and automatically tries to delete everything. I literally can't edit articles.

We should discuss this together to try and help eachother solve it. I haven't added a pic to the wiki in months because of that. Every week or so it allows me to do small edits but randomly when I try to add links or save the page it flips out and directs me a couple pages backwards in my history.
I usually use the latest version of Firefox on Windows 7. What about you? Do you think it's connected with the mandatory skin change a few months back? I'll try investigating Wikia for clues.
I think I figured it out. Firefox reacts poorly to Wikigrounds for some reason. Internet Explorer worked perfectly fine, on multiple computers.
I am semi-retired now so I just drop in from time to time. I am disappointed that theres not much going on other than vandalism at the moment. As there are no other admin around, and the scum are rampart, I didn't hesitate to upgrade Joeyjoah to admin. Where is everybody else? The poor fellow is there on his own. We are consistantly averaging a THOUSAND hits a day, but there is no building, no development, no creation or planning. Where is Tyler? Spaintendo? Salnax? Fire? anybody?
Nobody took up Salnax's challenge to work on Videos- why not? Who is going to set up the next Monthly Challenge? Not me, I have a book to write, a job to go to and a crew of my own to organise (and a lovely gf to be with!).
Wikigrounds is a great cyberplace to be, there is so much to do and it is already such a great success. Where do we go from here? What things do y'all want to see there? Reply here! go there!
Ah snap, I forgot my username and my password, I've tried to find my name again but I cannot find it on the website.
I did find an ip (142.167.201.56) on an article I've written but I cannot get my screen name from it.
Please help, I have seen some articles that need editing.
Thanks!

No problem at all, real life always comes first. Best resolve your own matters before you worry about the wiki.

Hmm, as you probably have figured out, that IP is the one that created the Aksumka page. You can see that here. Unfortunately it doesn't look like you worked on this page with your account. I'm going to continue looking for it a little bit longer but you might want to consider making a new account.
* See you when you are good and ready, Tyler
* Johnny- just make a new account, we need people to get going here!
* Unless someone makes a sudden showing on this last day, I will declare the monthly theme competition result tomorrow with very little to go on. Despite earlier grumbles, I will do the Home Page as soon as I remember how to edit that section of the Home Page and announce the winner here . Joey will change the survey, add the data to his wonderful Survey Results page and add a link to the Gender Page.
* Any suggestions on what the new monthly theme/competition should be?
Monthly Changes
The Winner for June-Aug Monthly Theme competition "Videos of Newgrounds" is Joeyjoah. Although Salnax and he both created Pages, Joeyjoah continued to tinker with many video pages throughout the period.
New Monthly Competition Notability. You don't have to be admin to join in this project. We have a Forum where this has been discussed, and the current definitions are based on comments here, but nothing is clearly resolved and some subjects are not even started yet.
We need to decide all of this, including Notability definitions of Musician, Art, Audio Tracks, Toon Characters etc.
Also, I will be reviewing the definition of Notability for Flash Crews. At present one person could knock out one Flash through judgment in the name of a crew, produce on more obscure flash a year later and they would get a Page, whereas a person wishing to get a Page in their own name would have to get a nunumber of major awards or something much more substantial. I don't wish to remove crew Pages, but some simple steps to making the definition a bit more substantial would help.
If you are working on Notability, please put the word 'Notability' in your edit Summary. Adding facts demonstrating Notability of Pages; sensibly highlighting pages as NOT notable in Talk pages all count as work on this project. This is a MAJOR project of LASTING consequence for the Wiki - PLEASE give us your thoughts on this subject, either here or on the Notability forum thread.
Speak now or don't complain later!
Joeyjoah will be finalising the Gender of Users survey and picking a new one soon.
Would someone please step forward and set up a new Featured Article? You can pick something from the list HERE and follow the instructions on that Page. Please complete all the instructions properly if you are going to do it.
Apart from the above Crew definition I will be gone for the month. See y'all at the end of the Month- Impress me!
I have made requests through PM's in the past. I made one recently with no response. So I will not only ask this again, but also offer as well.
Could The Interviewer be added to Wikigrounds? If not then I would like to know why? Also you are more than welcome to use it to garner information about artists and members.
Here is the main page of everybody who has been interviewed.
