Looking back at your first drawings in this thread and then looking back at what you do know really shows how goshdarn good you've gotten.

Yeah, that’s why I love the art threads in Newgrounds. It’s like a chronicle of each artist’s journey as they work to improve
also sketch:

Nice to see some traditional art completely drawn and colored in markers.
I think your color schemes is my favorite part of your art.
Thank you, I think a lot of internet artists overlook how useful it is to learn color theory from traditional media. I found once I took an oil painting class and had to get inventive - and had the time to get inventive - with color mixing and working with the somewhat small amount of colors I had, my color choices and range expanded a lot. Having every color possible at the tap of your tablet, I've noticed for a lot of artists (myself included when I did more digital), actually limits what colors they'll actually use.
Anyway here's something I didn't post in thread but threw in the art portal a while ago. I was really happy about the colors.
Here's a flier I made for a friend's EDM show.
also the final pencils for that sideways sketch I posted last week.
Little Jester's got some big sounds to fill.
I was using a different type of ink for the linework, its was behaving strangely and slightly reactivated when I was watercoloring in the background. I'll have to investigate this method further.
Sketch/color test for a redo of this old drawing and concept from 2015
Hopefully I'll be back to streaming by the time I start the final.
The No-Tell Motel, for all your less than morally upstanding needs!
(The list of markers I need to replace grows ever longer!)
Also here's an angry vaguely tiki shaman guy!
and an El Cucuy that ended up just looking like satan because I didn't want to bother with too man colors!
April is a very busy month for me, and yet, not a ton gets done.
Also from now on I'm only drawing black and white sassy skeletons, gonna get so fucking Instagram famooos.
Character portraits from that one Anime you barely remember except that you rented on VHS from Blockbuster when you were six.

Thanks, that's actually the result of my ink going bad and congealing causing the pigment to be distributed more unevenly!
