Not enough gypsy-ness, needs more.
for future reference I must know how to generate more gypsy-ness

Easiest way is to include more gypsies.
Especially the one who looks like Bill from L4D who plays the violin.
I didn't know the whole band were gypsies..
I realized just now I forgot to do a new weekly color, my bad this Sunday.
and here's something to look at
look vaguely familiar?

My sister says Jason Statham, but yeah it's an older character of mine, and a WIP doodle for art class.
Random Halloween sketch she asked for today.

The JetPack Girl returns in the process of redisgnification

This looks much better than your other stuff, great progress.
She looks way more human; she's still not realistic and still has your style to it (long heaad thin bodys big eyes) but it's pleasant to look at; a good stylization so to say.
Good job.
Also: I think you should work more on pencil shading; either with lead or color, try not to make solid areas, but gently shade something and try to make some gradients etc.

I must agree that I am liking it

I don't know that I'll ever be able to get past the thinness thing with girls I draw since I have a thing for thin girls with longer faces. but I am working very hard on getting past that in drawing.
Good job.
Thank you.

I have noticed especially more recently that I am absolutely terrible when it comes to shading with pencils I think a do fairly okay with it on digital drawings but it has been bugging me lately so I'll probably get to working on that soon.
Recreating the original Jet Pack Girl drawing.

I like it, It looks like you could be going in a new graffiti direction with your artwork. It's always interesting when you push yourself in a slightly new style. Should be good when it is completed.

Try to get some better lighting next time you take a picture ;P
Decky: I don't know, graffiti isn't something I'm very fond of, but I'd definitely like to take elements from it especial in the two toned stuff.
Jonny: my house sucks everywhere as far as lighting goes and all I got in the camera department is iPhone old one too so crappy camera.
here's a birthday drawing for my sister full of inside jokes.

If you have a bedside light stand, you can always use that. Or just resort to using a flashlight.
This is probably the best lighting I can get.
