Presence was not too great, but Achilles' Last Stand was a good song. Look into that, maybe.
Oh yeah, and I thought since nobody takes their 1,000th post like anything big, I decided to! YEAAAAAHHHH!!!

I think I love you now<3
And sorry for so huge stop for my visits.
And damn I can say, that CCR(=Creedence Clearwater Revival)is awesome shit. Just so odd thing in seveties when Prog ruled the Earth with depressive and psychedelic lyrics, but in CCR's style of playin' is something happy and lyrics too. And these guys really can play!

Yeah, half of Finns don't even know what CCR is,they're just like:"What? Is it like LSD?"
But CCR made huge step to rock music to go further...

...is it LSD???
(j/k)
...I like Led Zeppelin....
Anybody have The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn by Pink Floyd? It's their first album (Syd Barret FTW), with a lot of nice, yet weird guitarwork.

hell yeah.
All rock songs trace back to Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin 4 (The unnamed one).
Just out of curiosity, why do you all like rock, but not metal?

Some people just prefer 5 notes in their solos...
ZING :D

I like Hard Rock and some metal. The only stuff I don't like is SlipKnot and bands like that. Heavy death metal or wtvr the fuck SlipKnot is isn't appealing to me. Honestly, the guys who do that stuff are usually really good artists and amazing musicians. In my opinion its a waste to talent to go into a genre like that.
If you're looking for some good, light hearted rock that doesn't take it self too seriously I would recommend checking out either The Darkness (Permission to Land) and Electric Six (Fire) the () are the albums I'd recommend, Although either don't have an extensive discography, those two albums are constantly in my winamp : )

YES!!!
I fucking love you. The Darkness are amazing, they got me into Rock, Metal and guitar. I owe them a lot. Funny band live too... don't you just love it when the singer/guitarist plays a solo whilst flying over the audience on the back of a giant, prosthetic tigers back? :D
Although, I personally find their new album One Way Ticket To Hell... And Back to be even better. Its less serious and far more fun/rocking. Less ballads and stuff.
Pity it didn't do as well in terms of sales and stuff. Permission to Land was bummed to fuck, this album wasn't, sadly. After a few listens though its amazing.
And Electric Six are possibly the greatest Comedy/Rock band ever. Spinal Tap may just beat them, but Electric Six are amazing. Better than the overrated Tenacious D.
Hmmmm Maybe I'll give One Way Ticket To Hell.... And Back another listen. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it when I first heard it. I only heard a few songs. But yes, I agree whole heartedly about Tenacious D being overrated, I mean they have their moments but they are no Spinal Tap or Electric Six
yeah, darkness suck - buts thats my opinion- i'm more into the sort of "more screaming than singin" stuff, i listen to:
Slipknot
Arch Enemy
Rammstein
Metallica
Iron Maiden
Guns 'n' roses
Nirvana
How about the Nevermind album by Nirvana, everyonr likes that!! even my mum likes that!!
if this is a Rock Club...i must join! music is my life!
although i dont like groups that scream too much SOAD is the only"scream more than sing" group i like. the newish stuff is knid of ok, like Papa Roach or Red Hot Chili Peppers...
but Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, The Who...etc etc...
i could go on and on for quite a while... i like some Punk Rock stuff like Sex Pistols and Ramones ( i hate emo music though).
And at last i must say that my favourite groups what so ever are Queen(before good old Freddie died) and Guns 'N Roses (before the Axel Rose transformation).
