I dunno who you're talking to there, but I have no problem with "light" music. Look at my fave bands list higher up. Most are "light" - Coheed, Mars Volta, Zeppelin. Music doesn't need to be heavy to be good. Its need to be good to be good. And TDG aren't good.

Mezermize and Hypnotize.
They are SOAD's two worst albums (mass view). I suggest you check out Toxicity before you decide you don't like them.
Plus SOAD albums grow on you over time. I didn't like them at first, but after a few listens I loved them.

I can safely say that I'm not. I don't know, but I think they are the band I like the least in all of music. Gates is such a trendy bastard! I really can't stand looking at him. Plus they're hyped out to be super amazing guitar gods and all they do if lame little slide solos that make Green Day look like virtuoso's.

Thanks, I listened to some of their songs, and the only one I kinda liked was Bat Country, that song is really catchy. Other than that, they aren't like guitar gods or anything...
avenged sevenfold really moves around alot with their style. on the first 2 albums they r pretty heavy and now they r kinda still heavy but like the guy sings where u can understand him. so..... did u guys no that the singer had a pretty rough life?
