I've got a feeling it's simply that you Dexter needs to submit more pictures (minimum of 4), since there's only 2 on the account, and I can view them fine.
If the submission system still works, there's no problem.

The answer is: go to your profile page and click on favorites.

So l have some art and l got scouted recently..everything was going well, l was getting good reviews and stuff, but suddenly today l see that the vote buttons were gone....they just disappeared.
I just thought that they removed them to prevent artists from voting their own art, but l logged in with my friend's account to see that they were unavailable to him too...
I also searched the art portal and my art is nowhere to be foun, however my art doesn't break any rules since l made it using paintshop alone...the strangest thing is that l am still scouted, so l don't see why my art is gone...help please!
Maybe it's a broswer problem but this doesn't explan my art disappearing fron the portal while l am sill scouted...can you guys see the vote buttons?

there has been some problem with that before... where users have been scouted... but their artwork loses their vote-bar... or are alowed to be scouted even if they aready are... its a problem which is currently been looked at.... :3

Why have people scout other people? You have audio moderators who regulate the Audio Portal, so why not have the art moderators regulate the Art Portal and scout others themselves. It's like making mini-moderators basically.

why?... makes users feel part of the site and giving them power!!!... they are already sort of mini-mods in a way but only giving them limited power... the big bad mods can come along and remove them if they are naughty... also it saves time if theres 100 pairs of eyes trying to scout good art instead of 2...

He also triggered the scouting chain by scouting staff members. Tom Fulp was one of the people I-bot scouted. The staff members probably scouted other users/mods and so on.

So pretty much thank I-bot, or else nobody would be scouted as of now.

The scouting system is shit. Soon it will become a popularity contest. I actually would prefer if it was like the audio portal where you get your first submission approved and then be able to submit more. Some jackass can scout random users and then get him unscouted which will get the users he scouted unscouted and the chain goes on. Then the users that get unscouted will be pissed or discouraged from submitting art. It's a very loose and easily abused system. Also, some people who don't easily expose themselves will never get scouted which also sucks.

Giving users power is like making them become mods; some of them are willing to abuse it and cause havoc. Without trying, I have seen about 50+ people complaining about being unscouted. This is ridiculous.

Simply voicing my opinion, but I don't see how that'd work :/ A picking system much more complex will have to be taken in place (I guess like a BA, pictures submitted), and people will be more pissed off that they have little say, and are more likely to post stolen art.

Whereas I'm sure being a regular contributor to the portal is sufficient criteria, and now that the art portal is maturing (omg did I just say that) the majority of user base are competent in knowing who can submit something decent, and others who should fine-tune their work more.

I think the 'mess' is because the borders of acceptability are still a bit hazy, which the art mods are working on. If you think something's questionable it might be worth having a discussion in the Art Portal Patrol Thread, or just report it and let a mod decide.

but for a time, Wavechan's Optimus Prime piece which is currently at the top of the portal had a score of 9.1 out of 5. It stayed that way until enough people voted 5's and lower that it fell below five.

How does that happen? It isn't exactly fair IMO, not that the art wasn't good, but that a user can go over 5 pretty much guarantees their dominance for an extended period of time.

Okay, what the hell, yesterday l got my SECOND scout notification but l still can't see my fucking atr on the portal...and l can't see my vote buttons and it still says that l need 4 works to be scouted, even if l have about 9.

Yes. Sadly, as long as it doesn't break the rules, you can put whatever kind of garbage you want on your user page by unchecking the "Public Works?" option.
