Dude, you don't remember that before I started up the top 500 VP list, I was actually running the list as a 7.50+ VP list and every four updates I'd make it 6.00+ VP.

So a 10.00+ VP list would not be all that unprecedented at all.

It'd just be larger than what you're making now, so that's reason enough not to make it. Plus. needing to worry about more and more new peops all the time.

Unless enough old 10.00+ VP peops stop depositing and drop UNDER 10, of course.

Then that would help.

Dude, you don't remember that before I started up the top 500 VP list, I was actually running the list as a 7.50+ VP list and every four updates I'd make it 6.00+ VP.

Nope, I don't remember. =( Which makes it unheard of in my books as well as most other peoplz. =P

Seeing as the next update is due in 2 weeks and there is some discrepancy between the VP on the profiles and the real VPs, I'll be waiting till 2 weeks time. If they decide to change the VP system before then, then I'll be updating whenever they do it. If they don't fix the profiles in 2 weeks, I'll try to do the list by manually combining the B/P ranks with the base VPs. No guarentees though.

I was 14.38..... but now it's 13.94 which is quite strange.

The system is still updating I guess. Earlier it was saying my VP was 15.53, but that has since dropped down to 10.8 or thereabouts. Also the FAQ says that reviews and whistle level have some bearing on it now as well.

Mine dropped as well. But both my alts went way up.

It was teh messed in teh head.

I think in part it was based on how many deposits you missed (that hurt your VP).

gfoxcook has the exact same base and total VP as he did PRIOR to the redesign once the glitch was fixed...

but both gfoxclock and gfox have MORE VP now, just slightly more but more nonetheless... and they hardly do anything on NG but get exp...

The most you can get from levels alone is 10, but since it's set so that even the highest exp users are no where near 60, high end users lost base VP if all they had was XP. The point of that was so that slackers who do nothing but deposit would have less overall VP than users who had taken time portal patrolling or leveling their whistle. And active high end users(i.e. diety whistles and those with lots of reviews) would still see an increase in base VP alone.
