Back on 12/10, you said "Stats were pulled yesterday, update today cuz I said so. >:)"
I said that was a lot better than the way I would usually do it, which is to start pulling stats say Saturday, continue pulling them Sunday, still not be done, pull more Monday... and then spend Tuesday and maybe Thursday and Friday making the list update itself and finally getting it posted early Saturday morning, say.
That's the way my (monthly) pentalist updating was starting to go more times than not. Most months in the past half year or so.
One of the contributing factors to the demise of the list.

It said I had a few hundred characters remaining when I tried to post all 116 lines of the list in one, separate post from my update announcement post, as I always preferred to post 'em....
But you know how inaccurate that thing can be. It's not the first time I've been screwed over by either the inaccurate counting or some sort of.... I dunno. Memory bloat.
I didn't want to change the formatting of the update on its last update, yanno? So just split it up (AGAIN). It was getting to be insanely long, just like the pentalist itself (116 vs 146... only the original 30 pentalist members not being on the LLL, of course).
Maybe someday I'll go back and try to find out the List Leap for those 30 members. But it'll be impossible in the cases of those who were in the quadlist when I first made it, so there's not much point. Still, if I'm ever REALLY REALLY bored.
Of course, that means that X, Recon, Parasoul, or staphita is gonna have to stop depositing or else miss a shitload.
Which of you guys is gonna oblige me, eh? #;-}> I'd list even more folks, but to be honest only the #12, 13, 14, and 15 folks look reachable in my lifetime. ;_;
Seems like staphita is out of the picture now. You'll prolly catch up to Stormwarden before the other 3.
I thought ramagi was deposting for Stormwarden when he doesn't do it for himself, though. Having a backup who's always depositing for themselves on the site and is ever-vigilant is a lock for remaining ahead of someone 0.50+ VP behind you, dontcha think? Or have you noticed him not always keeping up with the exp as of late?

Like I said, we'll see. I am hopeful that the b/p ranks will not change. The exp/level system has long been growing more and more unfair for new NG signups, it's easy to see why Tom Fulp would want to change it.
But the b/p system is as fair now as it has been for years. That's what happens when there's no scaling. So why change it?
Yes, I realise the top 50 is full of EGSCs.
But there's an easy way to fix that. Change it into a daily top 500. Then we can see different ranks on the list again.
I hope Tom realises that's the best fix for the "Too many EGSCs clogging up the list" issue, which isn't even that big of a deal to me and most, I'm sure.
