Thanks for all the updates, BTW, Wylo. I noticed the great timingness with your 4/24 update. It was RIGHT after I'd tied Crono in exp for several days in a row until he finally missed that one last deposit that let me move ahead of him. Do you actually break ties by lower id#, BTW? I would think so, since we both had 12.38 on that update.

Anywho, that was fun. Actually getting to move up on this list again. I was down to 18 and moved up to 17, granted... but I had just been at 17, it was a quick "Down and then back up." This time, I've regained a rank... #16... that I haven't had since January of this year (and I had it for less than 10 days on the way down from #15 to #17, in fact... the road downwards goes soooooooo fast, folks. The road upwards? Not so much).

I use paper notes too, actually I have an entire clipboard full of all my stats since July 30th.
So I could see what my stats for any day.
For example on October 27th I was ranked 15,091 in exp with a total of 980. Also was ranked 529 in b/p with a total 4,410. And a voting power of 6.27.

Theres quite a few more things I add in daily, but you get my drift. =)

I use paper notes too, actually I have an entire clipboard full of all my stats since July 30th.

Cool. I don't often use paper or printouts, actually. I just keep a text file for gfoxcook and a text file for gfoxclock and track the major stats and rankings of each account for each and every day.

Ever since I retired from b/ping for this account, however, I don't really update the file every day. I have an excel spreadsheet which calculates and charts out my exp, my exp to the next level, base VP, and total VP for every single day from now till at some point in 2008 (and I could of course fill down to whatever date I want to, but no need to yet)....

and I will often just "future log" my data for the next week each weekend. If anything requires modifying, it's usually post-related (postcount and ppd), and since I haven't been posting that much (till this week, actually!), don't need to do that very often either.

So I could see what my stats for any day.
For example on October 27th I was ranked 15,091 in exp with a total of 980. Also was ranked 529 in b/p with a total 4,410. And a voting power of 6.27.

Theres quite a few more things I add in daily, but you get my drift. =)

I've stopped caring about them anymore. They are always going back and forth.

Not anymore they ain't. Pimp's ahead by several days. It will take a more massive miracle to knock him back under HT than the miracle that the reverse happened after YEARS of HT on top.

There's my bold prediction: Pimp will be #1 until at least 2010, if not long afterwards.

Sometimes I get .03 and sometimes .02 its just the flip of the coin and luck of the draw.

Well, technically you're gaining VP at the same declining rate (say like 0.02888889 one week and the next week 0.028887775 or some regular decay due to the level 30)... it's just whether or not it rounds up or not.

Okay, so maybe my numbers in the example right there were bad.... But you know what I mean.

Time flies even faster on NG when you don't spend as much time on it. Take it from me. The time since I retired from b/ping with this account has gone by super fast. The time before then from when I stopped posting regularly went by medium-fast. And the time before that when I was actually posting quite a lot in ADDITION to b/ping a lot went by slow-fast.

If that makes any sense.
