1337 comes from 31337, or ELEET. Hacker language, as demonstrated here:

I don't like the 1337 language, but it's fun just to say "Oh, I'm 1337!" which is "Oh, I'm elite!"

The print screen button is above Insert and between F12 and Scroll Lock on your keyboard. You hit it, then open Photoshop or Paint, and paste it into a new file. Save as a gif.
