i dont really know how to mix properly so im looking for advice on that. When i tried using some youtube tutorials with compressors and limiters and stuff i thought it sounded worse but idk. Also any thoughts on the composition of the track?

Hi, I'm quite interested in joining this club. I've read all the rules, don't worry. BUT I guess the weekend round should be easy for me, right? Like, I just have to give reviews and my opinions, and that is all?
Should I say I would also like getting messages from people who want my review?

To join you just have to be somewhat active, give a listen to folks who post and post when you want a review :p
Pretty simple, there aren't a whole lot active in this group, to the best of my knowledge.
I'd love to swap a review! I just posted an attempt at a synthetic metal style, and would love to hear your take on it! I'll give some of yours a listen as well (:

Hey! I'd love it if the club would consider reviewing my work:
Of particular interest, if possible:
- Parts that sound broken/need more work
- Parts you particularly like the sound of
- If possible, feedback from people who enjoy 90s emo and alternative
Of particular interest, if possible:
- How readable it is in terms of comic form
- Character expressions that look good or bad
- If anything feels vaguely 'off' and why
- If it genuinely made you go 'he he hoo hoo' or if you thought it was comedically mid (valid take)
I'd also be down to be one of the reviewers in the club if you wanna add me to the list for each round, though I might not be able to contribute every round as I'm also working and a full time student.
I want to know if the posing on this is good, I'm still trying to get better at doing more interesting poses for characters besides them just standing straight.
kind of iffy about how I mixed and generally went about recording this, i did everything myself so it doesn’t sound professional or anything but I’m curious what others think (also I need some reviews to get a score).

I made this song over the past few days, and I'm hoping I can get reviewed/scouted soon b/c I want to be a real boy lol
Type of feedback I want I guess just relates to the ideas and if they all work together. Could it go harder with harsher sound design? Does the time signature of the beat work (9/4)? Is the atmospheric ending a satisfying resolution? What are the low points?
Tips for mixing stuff is really appreciated, because that's the area where I feel the least capable.
