Is it alright if we show other people's submissions? I understand it has to be your work, but I find reviews to be pretty rare nowadays and I think new users here would enjoy their work getting reviewed/recieve attention.

This doesn't seem to be much of a formalized club anymore. What you can do is follow the thread (click the heart in the top right) and you'll get notified whenever someone is requesting a review in here.

Don't think anyone's gonna stop you, so long as you don't spam up the thread or whatever I'd say fire away.

This submission here has been stuck in Under Judgement since Christmas and I think it deserves a spot in Portal. Although it's short and bit crushed, it's very charming.

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask your review of my game "Dofense"

This is a tower defense game that I've been developing for a long time. I released my first TD game on NG in 2018. It was minimal, but was well received by the NG community. Since then I've wanted to make a more ambitious TD game. After several experiments in art style and lot of frustration, I shelved it. Only 3 months ago I found the inspiration again and I started working on it again from scratch. I'm happy to announce that it now has enough content to make a decent demo. So I've posted it on NG for early feedback.

I won't repeat the details of the game, that you can read by following the link above. But it's a very strategy focused, mazing-on-hex-grid tower defense experience. It's possible that I have not set the difficulties of the level correctly, because I haven't found anyone to play it yet. Probably that's why I got some low ratings when I posted this game. And now it's in under-judgement limbo for past 4 days.

I've got some art that I'd like to have some review on. It might be more than what's allowed, but I don't mind you picking only one of them for review.

If there's anything I'm looking for in regards to feedback is a bit more objectivity than usual, because the people I showed these to generally seem to like it, but just leave it at that. I'm looking to see whether the things I make are objectively good or not, what characteristics I should improve on and which are perfect the way they are, etc.

Looking forward to your reviews and hope the art is to your liking. I may not respond quickly because I'm still trying to get the hang of this NG BBS technology thing, but I do listen to tags and anything that pops up in my notifications.
