Well, this is actually true but who is stopping you from reviewing the stuff other people post here? I mean even if we had an application form, we need active and helpful reviwers. I think @Ectisity would be the last one who says 'no' to people, which want to be part of this club as reviewer.
Also, the first post was from Jun 18, 2009. Yeah I know it was edited in Feb 2, 2016 but until now, nobody was blamed for joining and I think it would be okay.
At last, the first post says in the bottom

It's not stopping me from reviewing the submissions people post here, but I just want to officially be a part of the club, you know?

I never saw this, so my bad, I suppose. I just wouldn't feel like I joined a club if the creator or someone who runs it didn't accept me themselves. That's just me, though. I kind of need clarification, I guess, haha.

It's true as you said, as I need to know which people I have to give notifications to, and because I need to know which people are a member of the club in order to make sure all review requests are met, I would like it if people made posts saying "I want to join" like this. Ofc everyone is accepted, but it gives me a better overlook.

I thought i knew how this stuff worked, but now I'm not so sure:
Are we supposed to prioritize the "new request" in the previous big post, or the loose ones that comes after? Of course it makes sense to review some of the loose stuff (like when you've reviewed literally everything else, not naming any names... :D), but I thought we should mainly focus on the stuff in the update post.

It goes like that. Our leader here puts all requests of the week together in one post. We review them. Well, as our leader is also just human, he doesn't got every week time.
Well you HAVE the opportunity to review stuff that comes in just as you wanna BUT(T) you just can wait and review them when they're listed in the weekly post.
And as you may know, we norwegians are actually pretty 'cool' guys (ha haha...pun) you also just can pm @Ectisity for any questions you have. Or just ask here. I think, I'm 'til now the only one next to the leader who answers questions...well as far as I can, there's stuff I don't know. I'm not almighty 'y know :)

Well as I said in a post before, nobody is forging you to request stuff or don't request stuff. But I think you are right, when you review stuff, you should focus FIRST on the main post and THEN on the loose stuff...even when you have stuff in the main post you don't like. Give people advice and give them your meaning. That's why we are here. Give creators our opinions and tell them what they could do better. Don't be shy. Also if your ears bleed cos someone fail'd. Everyone fails. So just help 'em. Maybe some ppl are either aware of bad stuff or are just lazy bastards hehe :D

This club is all about reviewing, so whether you review the requests in the update post or just the ones that are loose (which will be included in the next update post anyway), it doesn't matter that much. Most important thing to me is that you review because you feel like you want to and not because you feel like you have to.
