My newest song, created completely from scratch. I would really appreciate a review so I can know what or what not to continue doing. Thanks!! :D

Well, I haven't done any reviewing lately. :(
I will try to get at least one done this friday.
Hello awesome heroes! It'd be great if you guys could review my latest (epic-orchestral-cinematic) work :)
As always, thanks in advance!
Hey RRC,
You probably don't know me, but I am the founder of the original RRC. I just dropped by on a whim to see if this club still exists, and I can't be more happy to see that it's not only alive, but thriving. It was an uphill battle to get the original approved and to develop a community of competent reviewers. It was an even bigger battle to maintain that community after its popularity exploded, as requests grew exponentially and veteran reviewers began to dwindle, myself included. I appreciate those who took the initiative to create a more organized group after learning the lessons that only 200+ pages of trial and error could have taught.
I am also proud to see that the new RRC has recently superseded the original in size - summing to a womping 500 pages worth of success. I am sure the moderation here has encountered its fair share of problems and challenges, new and old, and I appreciate the work it takes to maintain order in a forum-based setting.
As an NG alumnus of sorts, I just want to give a little piece of motivation to all of you reviewers: what you do is important. First of all, you need to understand the extent to which a well-thought out critical assessment of one's work can do for the individual. Sure some people will just spam this group to get more reviews for fake internet points or whatever, but others use Flash as a form of self-expression, and simply giving their work some attention can mean the difference between another dropped hobby and the motivation to create newer, improved projects. Nothing is more demoralizing than getting zero recognition for the laborious time and effort spent on a project, no matter what the medium may be.
Secondly, stop being stat-thirsty and take a moment to appreciate the benefits that writing all of these reviews has on you. I have written over 1,000 reviews during my time on NG. Hitting that 1k mark was the goal to my stat-thirsty teen brain, and I busted my ass writing reviews for hours on end in order to climb some arbitrary review leaderboards - hell, I became so obsessed at some points that I sometimes didn't even watch the flash (took too much time out of reviewing, of course!). I'm sure many of you have tried similar short-cuts to writing reviews at one point or another; if you do find yourself half-assing reviews or complete-assing them like I did, you should take a second and evaluate what you're doing. Whatever stat goals you may have on this site may seem important now, but trust me, they are insignificant in the real world... but does that mean I regret writing all of those reviews? Hell no. I wrote over One Thousand complete, critical analyses before the time I hit 16. I didn't even notice I was doing it at the time, but you wouldn't believe how much my writing was improving - grammar, prose, vocabulary - you name it. I always just figured I was inherently more talented than my peers. That's a lazy smart kid thing to do; don't do that you lazy smart kids.
Here's a little experiment: sift through your first few pages of reviews and compare them to the latest few pages. Notice a difference? It's probably monumentous. It's probably the equivalent to comparing a grade-schooler's writing to a collegiate. Be proud of that difference - use it as your primary motivation to keep writing. You're likely not going to become a professional reviewer, but the ability to write and critically review will be vital in any field you may find yourself in. For instance, I'm currently in the Molecular Biology field, and I have to analyze and peer review dense publications all the time. Who knew habitually reviewing silly animations would evolve into such a helpful, necessary skill in my personalized field?
I'm sure this won't relate to all of you. Some of you may even be older than me; regardless of age, my points still stand. If this can stimulate at least one fellow reviewer to write better, more in-depth reviews for the right reasons, then I will be thrilled. Keep doing what you guys do best, and never stop improving.
Best,
FM

Very nice post. Should be helpful to a lot of new reviewers. I know that MY reviews improved a lot thanks to this club. It's with reviews just like with everything else: Practice is what makes you better.
Also, since english is a foreign language for me, writing reviews was a nice way of improving my english skills. Both my vocabulary as well as my grammar (which still sucks, though).
So yeah, here's a nice "Thanks!" for you, FM.
I would really appreciate a review a my collab with larrynachos and Teravax, we put a lot of effort into it and I'm really proud of the way it turned out.
Hey guys!
I am a complete Noob and would appreciate feedback and reviews on my first animation if you can.
Thanks
Ah man, I was meaning to get a few more reviews done before the next update. Oh well, I'll try to get more done this time. I have lots of time to review things, but it seems like I can never be motivated to do it, heh.
Hey guys, I'd love to hear your opinion about my most recent track. It's a sort of piano & bass vs electro theme I worked with in this piece so give me your thoughts!
Here's another random sound I've thrown down. If you could let me know what I did well in the loop, let me know. I'm looking for things I've done right in the song, and making sure I include what I did right into my next song.
Thanks a bunch. :D
Hey RRC, I would like to request some reviews for my audio submissions please.
My latest submission, which was blammed > http://www.newgrounds.com/projects/audio/729853
(I want to get some honest reviews so I can feel better about the music)

I'm pretty much unknown on NG because I don't get around the site often, but I do upload something new every once in a while. (Real Life is busy.) I don't receive a lot of attention and my review-submission ratio is extremely low. I really hope the kind people in this group can help to provide some much-needed feedback so I can accelerate my learning speed.
Thanks very much! :)
Man, this week has gone by fast. I'll try to get a few more reviews in before the next update.
On a side note, I'd appreciate some reviews :3
Hi there, I'd appreciate a review on my new track "Gaia - Holly's Theme". Thank you for your time.
Hello, RRC! I'm new to the community and I've noticed it's hard for new-comers to be seen.
If it's not to much trouble I have a track that I'd like some feedback on.
It's an uplifting EDM Trap song with a dark hollow drop.
Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the late reply, but you can only request reviews for 3.
Y'all don't mind reviewing VG remixes/covers, do you?

I have to agree. Before I joined I was a literal stat whore only seeking to get onto the Audio Reviews list. However, after being here awhile I learned how to properly review from users such as @Corky / @Fro , @Coop, @SkyeWintrest, and @Step.
Aw shucks, thanks pal!
Just dropped 10 songs into the portal! Some of them already being zero bombed :(
Find your inner pop-punk and give these a listen!
Thanks so much guys.
Would really like a review of this, please.

Bah, I really need to be more active and get more reviews in. I have the time, but it just feels like such a chore to have to sit through something, analyze it, and write an in-depth review on it. I do enjoy writing lengthy reviews and helping people out, but it just takes so much to sit down and actually do it. I'll try to get in more reviews this time, maybe I'll even get to review something other than a flash movie, heh.
And regarding someone else taking over the club, I'd hate to see this club die, and I would offer to take it over, and I could really dedicate to it, but I get really lazy at times so I wouldn't trust myself with such a responsibility. Hopefully someone comes along that can carry on the RRC torch :3

I've come along way from being that audio review stat whore in 2008. A giant thank from the current club runner to you Freelance-Magician. <3
Thanks for the compliment, SCTE3 - I've been hanging around in the background a little of late and maybe I will get the reviewing bug again in the new year. I just don't have the time at present, but you never know what the future will hold.
Happy Xmas to all of the RRC, I hope you got what you asked for
This flash made it to the 7th best of the week. It's a bit disheartening that it didn't get an award, yet ranked so highly. I'm glad for what reviews I got, it was pretty positive. I know this sounds like begging, but when someone puts as much work into something, they would really like to have some people commenting on their work.
And if you like Sonic and would really enjoy giving some intelligent thought, I would appreciate it.

Hey! I've got a new song that I'd really like to have some opinions on. It's got 8-bit and nice powerful drums.
I posted this a while ago, but got no responses... :(
