Hey, I'd like to make a few more requests of my own, if it's not too much :).

This one is another windows song of mine. Took me really, really long to do. I didn't really remove any drums in this since when I tried it without drums, it was so boring... Anyway, it uses 44 different sound effects, so when it comes to the variety of sounds, you're spoilt for choice :P.

Lastly, I'd like to spotlight an audio submission, if I'm allowed to, I'm not sure if spotlighting counts with the requests (and even then, I'm not sure if it's still 3 requests per week or 2). It's an audio submission by a favourite author of mine (he is amazing at making songs) and this is one of his best songs. Too bad it only passed the front page with 1 review, an around 15 votes.

Basically, Spotlighting was something I came up with in order to produce more flash submissions in order to get a good number of reviews written every week and keep people like me interested in the game.

The intention was to highlight Flash on quiet weeks. Feel free to spotlight Art and Flash, but audio should remain a non-needed commodity, as there are plenty of requests out there for that stuff, as is plain to see.

I'm just trying to keep the workload down here - Audio is fun to review, but there can be too much of a good thing, that's all I'm saying.

Well, it's somewhat automatic, but it's nicer to ask the other club members before you decide to join. :P

I had a quick look at your latest reviews and they look pretty good. May I suggest however that you create paragraphs every once in a while in your reviews? It's easier to read as it takes away this "wall of text"-feeling one can get while looking at your reviews.

If I'm in, should I start immedietly or should I wait for next Sunday?

It's up to you. Just be sure to post your points when you feel you have done enough reviews. You can find a list of points in the very first points. If you have any questions regarding the points system or anything else about this club, feel free to ask. :)

I totally agree with haggard though - your wall of text style of reviewing is a little hard for people to be expected to read them. Given that you write pretty detailed reviews, I'd say welcome aboard, so long as you obey the rules, you should be fine here.

I haven't listened to many, but I suggest we don't review this as it's something that is just a premade loop in garage band and the author really didn't do anything to make it at all.

Gah, only done one of these and its Thursday T_T. Alright, I'll try and do like 2 or 3 more today, another 2 or 3 more tomorrow, and go on a non-stop streak of reviewing in the weekend :\.

Quite a few like usual. I wish there was a way to limit them. :(

I've been thinking for ages but haven't thought of a solution, except this:
If our audio requests go over like 12 or so, we move the remaining requests to be reviewed the next week, but it'd be complicated to implement and it'll make the users wait much longer than usual, so apart from that half-hopeless idea, I'm out...

Also, totally unrelated to the subject: today, at school, I had an assignment where I had to write a book review on a book I read, and after I'd finished it, I was almost going to write "-Review Request Club-" at the bottom, lol :P.

Yeah, we shouldn't review this. First of all there isn't much to review in this submission and second it seems to be pure spam. We shouldn't waste our time and effort on such requests.

Please if you are going to review someone's work, read the description first, I requested a review on a work and got the same review 5-6 times from people saying it would be better if you added strings or something, and its to quiet, even though I mention in the description, this is a work I did for a composition project where we were required to use this text and this instrumentation. It had to be bassoon and vocal soprano, I also would like to say that although I appreciate your review, I do, look back at some of the other review from your fellow club members because you guys all essentially said the same thing.

The rule that says "3 requests per week" is still up, we will possibly elaborate on a new rule that would restrict the number of requests per week. But for now, you can request reviews on 3 of your songs and then spotlight a submission that you like if did all the requests of the past week, which you is your case. By the way I gave you your 5 extra points for referring Darklight :).

Yeah, it would be great if 7 people would all say different things about a submission. But sometimes it's just not possible. And if 7 people think the submission is too quiet, well... maybe it really IS too quiet. ^^
