I'm kind of in-between. His style is cool, but I'd much rather prefer if he filled in the colours properly, added ears, etc... He can still keep a sloppy style, but there's still room for improvement, in my opinion.

I do say that in my reviews that he could improve and not leave so many uncolored spaces but you know.

Anyways I just realized being in the review request club there are a lot of great perks about the club like getting more reviews an more stat points.But the most for me why I like this club is I discover lots of good audio,art,and flash.I have added like 5 things into my favorites just from this week alone.Which shows there is some real good stuff every week.

It's really my first time putting some sort of vocals in a song, even though it's just an audio clip of a CB radio transmission. Still, if anyone could give me a good review with some nice crit on what i can improve, I would really appreciate it! :)

I know, right? That's probably the greatest perk that comes with membership in the RRC. You find so much great stuff that you probably wouldn't find if it wasn't for the club.

Well, I've never given him a ten. I've given him an 8 at best, because there's always something he could improve on, but still, I like his style. He could still add some details while keeping true to his style.

I useally give him a 6,7,or 8 but it is a little bad but I think some of his other art is a little ok.I do like the way he does it though.As long as some of his art is good and it isn't all just wasted space im good.

Either way, we shouldn't differ between the people requesting reviews, whether we like it or not, whether we think it's spam or not. If we did that, we couldn't review a lot of what's being requested nowadays, at least in the flash section.

This little chat you me and steph had has gone on for a while but I think its going to end here.In the flash portal I would probably be short of 30 points if it wasn't for clock flashes

I accidentally reviewed one of the extra audio reviews. I didn't even know I did it. Ah well. I've got seven or eight audio reviews left. I'll do some of them after work, and the rest tomorrow. Doubt I'll get to do a lot of extras, though I'd love to get them all done with.

What is the extra audio request for?I have no idea what to do with it.To leave them or review them and instead of trying to figure it out myself why not ask a fellow member.

Well, you know that we have the rule that says only one audio request per week and three per month, right? Well, when they request all three at one, two of them end up in extra audio requests. They'll be in the requests list the next week, or the week after that. If you do them, you wont have to do them next week. It's simple as that. You get points next week, of course, and not this one. If you know you'll be very busy the next week, you should try to do them. That'll make the list a bit shorter for you next week.

So I do not have to do them to complete all request this week.I can just wait till next week to do them and th next update it will still say 100% completion cause im really shooting for that.But it is not Mandatory to do it

I know everyone has a style, it's just that he doesn't seem to consider the points in my reviews much. How am I supposed to know whether the fill overflow, for instance, is just his style or a flaw that he didn't do on purpose, when he isn't telling me? When he's not, I'm led to believe in one of them, and personally I think it's a flaw.

Either way, everyone has a different sense of art and reviews are based on the reviewer's opinions. Thus, I'm going to review the way my heart is telling me, though I can promise up-a-notch that I won't be too harsh because I can see you guys' point.

i do consider them (yes i read this thread) and I try to color inside the lines but I just don't really like the look, but I don't see any harm in trying to do ears in my next art...um and my new art has a belly button :D (no that is not a penis)

I completely understand. Sure, some parts of your review I can agree with, like the lack of ears and such, and I also understand that your reviews are influenced by your opinion. Hey, I do the exact same thing with my reviews, so I'm not going to complain about anything. In fact, don't think I'm complaining. Your reviews are very good. I just think we should review everything, regardless of what we think of the art. And now he's even written that he'll take your reviews into consideration, which is awesome. We're all accomplishing stuff here.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. They're not mandatory this week, but they'll be in next week's list, so you probably should do them.

That would be wat to hard to do a couple hunred submissions go trough the portal a day.We could but they would have to be really crappy reviews and the point system would be a mess.The system is good that we have right now

I agree. I just said that I was growing reluctant, partly because I'm weary of pointing out the same stuff all the time. You've been here longer than I did, surely you must know how it feels.

And now he's even written that he'll take your reviews into consideration, which is awesome. We're all accomplishing stuff here.

Well, the irony is that he told me he would take my reviews into consideration, but yet doesn't seem to, even though he seems to have made it partly for me, which by the way, I appreciate.

However, I'll explain why he doesn't seem to pay much attention to my points. The three flaws I kept pointing out the moment I started reviewing his art are:

1- The fills overflow their outlines. He tells me that he likes the way it looks, but to me it's just awkward and sloppy.

2- The man doesn't have ears. At least he strives to draw ears, but it doesn't even look like an ear. It's more like a scar on the far side of the cheek.

3- You rush your art. I try in vain convincing him that anything that is made quickly and without effort is never good. Yet he submits another picture almost four times a week, give or take one.

I'm a tad ambivalent. I can't decide whether to keep taking off points for those, or not to, thinking that it's just his style and that he likes it that way, even though I don't. He has mediocre pictures and quite bad ones, though unfortunately not good ones just yet. I keep lending him a hand, but he rejects it all the time.
