If I'm not mistaken it's in the "DK rails level", which is numbered 10 on the map.

There's a part with a tree, and you have to use the ground pound/Z+down near that tree.

The bird should show up through the hole.

You weren't mistaken - it was in DK Rails.

Whilst I'm here, I'd also like to inform everyone that after nearly eight years of being unachievable, the Golden Astronaut for Alula Falling #1 can now finally be earned, thanks to JackAstral putting out a fix on May 11th.

I'm not really active here, but it might be useful for people to know that medals in this game only unlock when you force it into ruffle with "/format/flash?emulate=flash" in the url. So far that's the only one I've found where the achievements work like that. Hope it helps someone!

You can get it by clicking one of the windows of the building behind the boat in the dream place. Just click all of them until you get it.

Not sure how to get the "Pacifist" secret medal, there seems to be some kind of hidden passage near the house at the start of the game

"Very difficult" is an understatement - considering that touching any enemy will kill you and the physics aren't particularly suited to precise/pixel-perfect jumps, I think its damn-nigh impossible. You manage to pull it off, I'll be impressed.
