I had the problem taking the shortcut directly and didn't walk through the first three rooms. Someone send me a video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpRc7DzDpzM . At 3:20 you can see how the guy gets the medal. I tried to kill this mob with the shortcut but it didn't work. So I just deleted the whole save and did everything like in the video and it worked.

Really? I got them all on my first play-through. Try deleting the .sol file and play it again. Usually works.

Anyone else having trouble getting to the 9th or 10th level? Whenever I make it to the end of the 8th/9th level (3 times already), the game screen pauses and turns white with a big gray ! in a circle. If anyone knows how to fix this (because it's the first time I've seen it in any of the NG games) please let me know.
