Anyway, I have the same problem with medal points. Not only for this game but most of the new games aren't giving me the exact points.

I hope that this issue gets fixed soon. Now all of a sudden I lost 200 points in medals, and none of the new medal games are giving points. For me anyway.

This game should have the medals removed like all the HTD tutorials. At least with the HTD tutorials you had to do something to get the medals, ie: click the mouse button on the forward arrows. This is ridiculous all you need to do is Launch Pop Up, Start the *cough* game and leave it going until you have all the medals. So basically you're getting medals for doing absolutely nothing. Isn't that what we're trying to avoid? Aren't we supposed to be earning medals?

I would say you can also do something in this game. I mean, you can move the AMAZING BEAST around the screen! You can make it fly high or too low, isn't that COOL!?

There's a glitch where if you spam the mouse button then hold, you fire MUCH faster than normal. It doesn't work with the keyboard controls unfortunately xD The laser still does more damage however.

In "A rabbit fable" I miss only the "Hidden gregorio" medal...any tips?

Hey guys! I had an idea today and decided to go with it (see bottom of post for TLDR). Has anyone made any programs that show you medal stats and stuff? If not, I'd like to present you the first version of the one I made. It gets a list of all the medal games and their medal and point counts; the list can be sorted by game name, number of medals you haven't earned, or number of points you haven't earned. Also shows total counts. The original idea I had was to help with finding games you can go back and play, and where you can get the most points at once, stuff like that. If there's interest and I have time, I think it would be cool to expand it to include more stats (from the same pages I'm already accessing, I can get the date you earned every medal, for example; many possibilities just with that).

Anyway, I wrote it in Python since that's what I'm familiar with, so I'm not sure what the best way to get it to you guys (if you want it) would be. Also, it doesn't necessarily get _all_ the medal games, because if I wanted it to do that, it would require somewhere in the neighborhood of 1800 GET requests, which I don't think Newgrounds (or my computer) would appreciate much (the program takes about 10-15 minutes to run, with ~160-320 requests, as currently implemented). So I just have it go through Nijsse's list of medals to get a "complete" listing. (Incidentally, Nijsse if you wanted to use this, make sure you capitalize your name when it asks for it :P.) Also, I got some encoding errors, so a couple pages ask you to paste their code manually (so check the shell window occasionally). I'm decoding the webpages with UTF-8; if anyone knows a better alternative that will avoid errors (one of the culprits seems to be "£"), please let me know.

Anyway, here is what the output looks like (totals are all the way at the bottom), sorted by name. So if you want the .py file (or if there's a better way to do it), let me know how to give it to people. Or if someone has already made something, maybe I'm useless :P.

That definitely looks like a useful program, especially for users with a lot of medals. Right now there are still so many games with medals I haven't even played that I wouldn't need a list to find medals I'm missing, but I can see how this might come in handy in the future. Can the Python file by run just like an exe, or compiled as an exe? I assume the list is just saved as a textfile? I'd love try this out if it's possible. :)

Yeah, and I figured even if you had a lot left it would give you a good place to start by showing where you're missing the most. Yes, it's saved as a text file (I could probably add other options too though). Unfortunately, all the Python to exe converters I can find seem to be either incompatible with the version of Python I'm using (3.2) or require other installations to make it work. Downloading Python 3.3 would honestly be the easiest way. And where would be the best place for me to host the .py file and be able to update it when I add more stuff in the future?

Thank you for the suggestion Cyberdevil, I'm surprised that actually works pretty well. So now all you need to do is download the .zip, unzip it, and run the .bat file in the folder that comes out. The output file will be saved in that folder also. Here's the dump link:
