the shot requirement for gold medels has been changed compared to the original,making some castles seem impossible in one shot

You can still do it but you have to time it just right it some instances. Make sure you have a fast enough pc and if you are having trouble check youtube to see exactly where it needs to be hit.

actually,the games own walkthrough shows the gold medal requrement as 2 shots,and in-game its one....

Yeah, kinda weird how the game is really easy for the first 79 levels, and how difficult it gets to beat level 80. fortunately, the game went laggosaurus-rex after a few tries, so it was too hard to beat it. The 100x combo cannot be obtained though, the game maxes out at 50, even in the endless level after level 80. =/
