Medals are working just fine for me. Are you getting popups showing that they're unlocking? Because a lot of times with this author's games, they don't unlock on the page while playing, but are in your profile.
It's harder than most Gamezhero games, that's for sure. I'm on level 9, and the sucker's a pain in the neck.

Only the medal for level 9 didn't send for me. Even after replaying it a few times. That's a shame, as otherwise I would've gotten my 9000th medal from the game.
The trick to that level is that you immediately send all your barracks guys to the fort underneath it, and then capture both airports. If you manage to capture them both, there's nothing the AI can do to you if he doesn't do it in the first twenty seconds.
Now just capture the other two barracks (the AI doesn't do that, so take your time), and capture the rest.
I've completed all levels but #20. That one looks really impossible to me. 19 was already half-impossible, but in 20 the AI has so much more than you at the start. Has anyone found a strategy that works for that level?

Tactical aggression solves everything, and it's hilarious that the enemy keeps trying to take your anti-air first. Beware of broken medal btw.

I have all medals but #20, which didn't send for me. I tried twice, so maybe it's broken. Someone could confirm...
Strategy for 20:
Immediately send 7 guys to the air defence thing and 14 to the airport. Split new guys from barracks between airport and air defence. Using airport, quickly capture first the lower left, then the upper left forts. Don't worry about the enemy capturing all the other barracks. AI is dumb enough [intentionally or not] not to overwhelm you using all the barracks.
Using barracks and airport just maintain 14 guys in each of the forts, which are never targeted by enemy paratroopers and thus will never fall. You have to constantly replenish guys at the air defence, though. This is important! If it falls, paratroopers will overwhelm your airport and it goes downhill from there.
Basically once you are in this situation, you have won. Enemy paratroopers will suicide against your air defence, and their ground troops suicide against your forts. Slowly use your own paratroopers/ground troops to take the top/bottom/mid barracks and move on from there.
Just to add: #20 is especially counter-intuitive since the most straightforward way to win the first 19 missions is to quickly capture more barracks and thus out-produce your opponent...

FYI, the Rockydennis medal in Tequila Zombies 2 used to be broken, but after contacting the author the medal now works.

If the medals don't send for you, clear your cache by pressing ctrl + F5, and then complete the level again. That's how I got the one from level 9 to send.

Sorry for the triple post, but disregard the medals not working on the second. They didn't unlock for me in Firefox, but they did so in IE.
The medals work properly in bot games (on google chrome)
