Also, any hints on how to beat level 19? I keep getting my butt handed to me (and not getting enough souls to upgrade health/mana/mana regeneration unfortunately). I've gotten all spells, and upgraded the fire attack to 3. Is there a technique to beat the onslaught, or is it just perseverance?

Yeah it's a silly game. For the first 18 levels I didn't get hit once, and then level 19 kicked in and I died every single time. Level 19 is actually fairly easy if you keep hitting the priests with the Lightning Sorcery, and combine it with the Soulchain to keep the mana up. Level 20 is way harder. Use the same tactic (go for the priests first), but after you beat half of the level, you really have to combine Cataclysm and Soulchain to keep damaging the priests (they are all around the field) and keep your mana up to kill the enemies that really do damage. Once you get the hang of this tactic you should be able to beat the game.

Also, I will never respond to the "can someone PM me medal XYZ". Not that I don't want to help, but I don't want to be the 3rd to PM someone the same thing. There are more reasons why I kinda hate those posts, but to each his/her own. I will always try to help if you contact me personally though. =)

Thanks for the tips, Nijsse. Like you, I flew through everything... then I hit the Hell that is 19. I think the main problem with the game is that you have to click and collect those damn souls. If it were just a one button thing to grab them it would be a heckova lot easier. Plus, I don't have a regular mouse, just one of those that are built in on the computer itself. That makes casting spells a lot more difficult, and after playing for a little while yesterday I'm finally beginning to get feeling back in my fingertips! I'll have to screw around with it, hopefully I can get that 100 pointer.

In regards to the secret medal request, I appreciate the honesty, and can understand it. :) Before the medals changed to just a question mark, I was a lot better at figuring them out. Now? I can get one every so often by luck. I guess they call 'em secret medals for a reason, eh? I'll keep futzing with it, and bug you if I reallyget frustrated.

I didn't have too much trouble with level 19, it was level 20 that took a few tries. level 3 lightning seemed to worked the best for them, as well as having you mana abilities maxed out. It also works well if you don't use your element spells on the top of one another, just use them like a ladder, keep the pain continuing every step they take. Cataclysm was the only other spell I used. I used it for when there were huge groups coming down.

There is also a glitch where you can use experience points without using them up. Just build them up to 300 so you can buy the highest spell level, then buy a skill, and immediately after that just refresh the page, then choose to continue. If it worked right, you will have the spell you just bought , and the original amount of experience points you used to buy that spell.

You guys are silly. The Shockwave and Annihilation spells synergize together, and quickly decimate EVERYONE. All you have to do is perform the Shockwave spell, then complete the top for Annihilation. Don't do it too quickly, but don't do it slowly either. When the first line dissipates, complete the line. This lets you cast Annihilation for only 35% of the cost. Then when the second line dissipates, complete that line. Annihilation! And when the third line dissipates, Shockwave. Complete that line for another Annihilation!

This is fairly mana-intensive though, so it's a good idea to invest in increase mana pool size. Cast Soul Binding to farm mana obviously.

That's waaaay easier of a technique! Thanks for sharing, as I (dummy that I am) didn't even think of it. Plus, it's a heckova lot easier to cast them because as you pointed out, they're pretty similar shapes. I got extremely close to beating level 19 that way... those damn archers! I had 2 of 'em left on screen, and the S.O.B.'s ended up killing me. Grrrr!!!!

I have to practice though with completing a line when one of them disappears however. Haven't quite got the hang of that yet, and I think that's why I run out of mana by the last 2 fellas.

While this is definitely true, I don't see what it has to with the strategy of this game. :P I mean, the hard part is coming up with the right strategy. Executing it took 3 tries, because I failed at casting the Cataclysm spell a few times. It's funny though how every single time I try to help some people out someone feels the need to one-up my post. Sure, sometimes there is a slightly better way of beating a game (probably also this time), but the nature and manner of those posts suck the helpfulness out of my gaming-soul. I will earn those medals anyway yo, so I'll just stop bugging people in this thread with my inferior strategies. =)
