I haven't attempted to get all the medals yet, but its position in the menu is a good indicator of where you can find it. For example, the "Fire bad!" achievement is surrounded by all the Contra level medals, and it would be reasonable to think it has something to do with fire in the Contra level.

In Abobo , how do you execute the "friendly move" to get the friendly foes medal?

That game is phenomenal. Do the konami code on the contra level to unlock two player and a medal.

I'm pretty clueless on how to get on in the Zeldabobo level. I got the ladder, all right. But how do I get the keys to open the doors? After I killed all enemies, the only enemy coming back after killing is the merman above the dig dug room. Behind him, there's the key, too far to reach...

Help? Anyone?

At the bottom, where there is a room with enemies and a rock in the middle, you can push that one. That'll open a door. The rock will be shiny.

I got it on the last stage there. It took around 5 minutes to show up.

Took me a google for a video to figure it out, but I finally got the "jump from the top rope" medal, which is the last non-secret medal for me. Also, the Amazon is a cheating bastard that has absurd Y-axis movement speed. Going for the Chair Massacre medal? Nope, he takes the last chair from you and denies you.

I'm curious as to how to get the Secret Medals in this game. I have some, but I don't wanna specify them to spoil anyone. So can someone, anyone, PM me a list of the Secret Medals and how to get them?

It worked that way to me too. Just kicked the urban champ till the patrol showed up.

One more revelation about the Abobo in-game medal list: it's organized alphabetically by description. That leads to a few guesses other than "try everything", although I suspect I'll have to try everything anyways xD

Got the Thriller medal. Sure made it easier when I guessed that the description would start with "Find" xD

And that's that for Abobo's Big Adventure. Quite the ride if I do say so myself, though I've never played a whole lot of the NES, so it probably doesn't hold as much meaning to me as it would for others of the older generation.

After reading foolio's hint, I got the medal in 5 seconds after starting the 2nd level.

Now I have all of the secret medals. Now I get the fun task of doing the hard ones like beat the Contra levels without dying. Joy. :/

I personally found Balloon Jedi to be even harder. At least with the Contra levels, you can take your time in spraying the whole entire place with either the spread shot or flamethrower.

Thanks I needed this!!! ton of help! oh and in case anyone needs to get the friendly foes achievement on the urban champ level you hit dude until it says finish him and then just wait dont hit him then a bunch of buttons will appear on the screen to hit and you get it!
