You need to press ''new game'', then underneath ''normal mode'' should stand the slug mode.

Need more help now though. Played through Quickdraw GUN.5 three times now to get all the medals, but I'm still missing one of the easter eggs and the four secret ones. I'm missing the clown easter egg, I have no idea what to look for.

So I DID get the gold medals after all.

As some of us know already, you can't get the bronze, silver, or gold medals in normal mode (or tutorial mode). You have to play in Zen mode to unlock these medals.

What struck me as very odd was that you could get the bronze or silver medals at a later point in the game, even if your stats say you've done much more than is required for those medals. That told me that the game had an alternative way of tracking the variables that trigger the medals.

To prove this concept, I hopped onto my test account to play. I did a full Zen mode run, refreshed the page, then did another full Zen run, which nets me 2.5k crystals. The silver Crystal Collector medal did not send. It's also worth noting that I did NOT get the zone and miscellaneous medals while playing Zen mode (but normal/tutorial mode does allow this). Next, I played two full Zen runs in a row. To my dismay, the silver Crystal Collector medal still did not send!

I know that getting 2k crystals in a single run is nearly impossible, but I still got it on my main account regardless. Thinking about the circumstances and whatnot, I concluded that the "instantiation" of game sessions had something to do with it, resetting the variables responsible for medal sending along the way. I noticed that hitting "Main Menu" had a different loading screen than hitting "Restart" or "Play Again", so I decided to repeat my tests trying the latter options. It worked.

So in conclusion, here's what you need to do to get the bronze, silver, and gold medals for Dillo Hills:
--Play the game in Zen mode.
--You MUST hit "Play Again" ("Restart" probably works too, but I can't guarantee it), or you'll lose progress towards your medals!
--You may shop at the end of each run.

Now that I think about it, the fact that the stats stop updating after you unlock the hats might not have anything to do with it. Still, better safe than sorry, and delete your .sol files.

I can't say if this is true every time, but I've noticed that Burger stalls do exceptionally well. Feel free to combine it with the Ice cream stall for a synergy bonus. Book stores also did fairly well.

As always though, you should check on what your visitors are thinking and what they like.

I have beaten all three levels, got all the in-game achievements (including the secret achievement), got more than $2,000,000, a mall with 9 floors, 36 booths maximally upgraded (at least two of each), 40+ employees and yet no medal shows up. I guess it either has nothing to do with this, or it's broken. I don't see what they could give 100 points for though...

Hm, I haven't seen anyone who has a problem getting that medal. We don't have to keep it a secret because the medal description can be found on almost every medal collectors page. You sure you've had more than the required amount of dollars at one point during a level? I earned the medal at Tokyo the moment I reached that mark so I'm afraid the problem is on your end. I suggest you try to get it again, and if it still doesn't work, clear your .sol and try again. Good luck. =)

Yeah nevermind, I got it now.

For some reason it didn't pop-up straight away when I met the requirement. The game was starting to lag a bit in general, so I guess that must've caused the delay.

Ugh, fricking server connection issues again. Would there be any way to make something that would warn you as soon as that starts to happen? That would be useful...and how would I go about checking the status right now? I'm not sure if the medals in the game I was playing will resend or not, so once I know the server is working, if they don't I will send a PM to the author and hopefully he'll do something. Blah. Well, working on medals today was fun while it lasted.

I was thinking more like something we medal collectors could run on our computers, if that's possible, since you can't really count on people to add stuff. I guess I should back up more often anyway though, usually I only do it when I've spent a lot of time on a game.

So either there are still issues, or the game I'm playing broke. Bomboozle 2. I got a few medals a while ago, but the medals I earned last night and just now have not registered. So I guess I'll go play something else to see if that works...yeah it works (although no popup but that might be just the game). So I dunno what's up with Bomboozle, I guess I'll send that PM.

The author said something about them being available but not activated yet, and once they're activated you'll get every medal that you earned in the game.
