That's odd, the 3-heart challenge medal worked just fine for me, not sure why it didn't unlock for you.

Medal wh0ring 101: the longer you keep your game open without refreshing the page, the more you risk disconnecting from the NG servers. Try to refresh the game periodically so you can maintain that connection. Obviously if you can't save your progress on a certain medal, don't refresh.

Bullet Heaven was awesome, I felt like a ninja getting an A ranking on that last bonus level. I used Lance while doing it, Anna will work just fine too, but I think you'll do a bit more damage using Lance and spamming his sub weapon attack. I just need the Bullet Hell medal now, anyone knows a good place to get it? 666 bullets on screen is a lot. 0_o

Well, at first I thought it could easily be obtained on the last bonus level, but I tried many times and couldn't get it myself...any ideas anyone?

Yeah, I'm having a bit of a trouble with getting an A in the last bonus level too. I've tried using Anna, Matt and Lance but none of them ever made it. I've gotten 6 misses using Matt but the last bullets always gets me near the end.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

I found Lance and Anna to be the weakest characters (Lance's sub is awesome though). I just burst shot with the first three characters and ride my way to victory quite easily. My personal favorite is Matt because he has 4 bombs at max stats.

I got bullet hell on Bonus Level 4. I suspect it's also possible to get it on Bonus Level 3.

Srry for double post but oh schnapples I just managed to do this in an encore replay of matt's awesome game!

I guess I'll let loose a little. In bonus level 4, bullet hell comes when both light and dark spray bullets everywhere. In the same spot on my first attempt at the medal, I prematurely ended the phase and died .3 seconds afterwards, and didn't get the medal. lol.

I know it's the medal thread so i'll try to sneak in something medal related at the end, but I just wanted to say thanks to Matt for this awesome game. Was a pleasure to play through it. I enjoyed how almost no two enemies attacked the same way. So many options that let you play the way you want. No complaints at all.

Now for the medal related bit, how exactly do you get the Ultimate Blade medal? How do you kill an enemy instantly? Also, I got 958 kills on survival mode with Anna. :(

Matt and Natalie let you do this. Quite literally, Matt's bomb is a giant sword, and the same image as the one in the medal.

Bullet Heaven Protip: Getting an A or S in 19 normal levels and Survival (80+waves) also unlocks the last bonus level. Thats how i did it on Kong

they dont and cheats dont work in survival

They make getting better ranks more difficult, and as the other guy said, you can't use them in survival, but other than that, no not really.

But since you want to use them in survival, too bad.

Also, the starting enemy sequence in level 16 gets you the ultimate blade medal easily.

getting 80+ waves in survival gives you an A and counts towards the 20.

And yes, that last level I think is impossible. I get raped within 20 seconds and I have every available upgrade.

After a few peaks in the announcement thread, I realized that all the "jokes" I would run across are either glitches, bugs, or easter eggs from the days of yore. And I don't know the website like my own house and backyard.

Haven't tried argene's new game yet, but I'll give it a shake in a few.

Finished argene's game Fly And Blast. Apparently it was so difficult, no testing showed that the "Next" button at the end screen doesn't work!

I hope argene actually tries something different. I don't mind playing these games for medal points, but this is getting seriously stale.

As my last medal-getting act for the next two months or so, I've finished Bullet Heaven. Ended up getting to wave 107 in Survival, I think, on my last playthrough to get the 1,000 survival kills medal. Now that I've scrubbed the David Fulp medals from my profile, I may temporarily retire in peace, to emerge in a couple months in order to get to 100,000 and stop for good.

Also I pulled a neck muscle in the shower today, and now doing just about anything with my left arm hurts a lot. What the fuck?
