I prefer his medals for Extreme 5 minute Shootemup (listed as Frantic Explosive Shooter): he got over 6 million, then less than 1 thousand, then finished 2-player mode, then finished 1-player mode, and then finally failed.

I assume you mean how do you finish in under 35 days? The trick is to set yourself up early so that you'll perfect every day, and then keep yourself as flush with smileys as you can. If you're patient you can 1-shot both days 1 and 2, which gets you a psy smiley for day 3. I like getting up to 3 psy smileys, and then as long as you always have as many psy smileys as you do other types of smiley you'll basically always get the day perfect. Then it's just a matter of buying enough smileys to reach the $30,000 in a day benchmark.

In related news, I just found out the .sol file from the NG version doesn't work on the blessflasher version, so if I want to take over the scoreboard there I'm going to have to play from scratch. Ah well.

He can get less than 20 deaths on the first time by ragequitting everytime he dies 20 times. It's not hard to do that. If you didn't count my ragequits, I got that medal in 5 playthroughs (the room with the smokers was a huge pain). With ragequits, probably 20? xD

I think more definitive evidence from his cheating comes from Brawl Royale. How do you get the last three dudes out of order? There's a medal resend button in the end ffs, and it sends the medals in order, not all at once.

In other related news, the absolute maximum number of points you can get in a single day is well over 2 million. I got to 2.14 by maxing the multi smileys and buying 62 psy smileys, but I just realized a higher daily score is to be had by buying 75 bomber smileys instead of the psy smileys. It's all about getting as many smileys as possible on the board while staying below the $30,000/day mark, and you do that buy only buying the lowest-priced smileys. Since we don't care about how long it takes to get where we're going, you can really take your time here.

Well, it turns out it takes a whole lot longer to get maxed out if you go with the bomber smileys, and the point difference is only about 40,000, so it's better to just go with the psy smileys if you want a high score.

Also, is anyone else seeing the page for that game stopping after the game, with no author info or comments or anything? Really weird.

That's where you and I differ: I'm not even going to play that game because I don't care to grind out my medals unless it's a game that I know for a fact is fun. I keep hearing about how that's a really long game for relatively low medal points, so I'll pass on it and get my points elsewhere.

Eh the games really not all that long and really really easy once you get the hang of it. The gun game took me longer and was much harder but I did end up getting all the medals for it. But I guess I can play World revolution a lot b/c I love Rpg's like I love strategy games and there does not seem to be that many of those games with medals so I try to get all I can. That and the fact I play them while at work 3rd shift job FTW!

Oddly enough, I found that by switching browsers the problem was resolved. I changed from FF to Opera, and the pages loaded properly. Go figure.

I'm having a bit of a problem completing lvl 10 in TW: Purple Menace..

I've tried following the walkthrough closely but I still keep on getting overrun by the enemy opposition. Like for example: when I transferred one spore to another it would be completely taken over in just a few seconds after I just lashed out the tentacles. If anyone has any tips that can possibly help me complete the level then it would be greatly appreciated.

I've been stuck on this level for quite some time now and I'm just posting here as a last resort so I can finally progress through the game.

Yeah, level 10 is a serious pain in the ass. I haven't watched the walkthrough, but what I do is take my two left microbes and use them to attack the enemy's far left microbe, and take my right right microbes and use them to attack the enemy's far right microbe. When the microbes I'm attacking are low enough to be taken, I cut a tentacle and take them over, and then direct all my attention to the four middle microbes, both attacking theirs and defending my own. It does take a few tries for the timing to behave.

I took a look at the gamezhero walkthrough, and it's actually pretty bad. So I just recorded my own, and I'm about to edit it together to take out the levels that went pear-shaped, and then if all goes well I'll upload the whole thing to my YouTube account.

Tentacle Wars: Purple Menace - full walkthrough

I had to split it into two videos and merge them together in post, but there it is. Note that I'm going for speed here, not score.

I'm just randomly going through the games I haven't played yet (and I felt like randomly posting, I guess :P). "The Beast: MDM" hurt my eyes (when the screen was all red and I kept dying). Glad I got all the medals though, would've been really frustrating if I hadn't. Took me several tries to memorize the final boss but I did it first try on my second time through. (Didn't help that my laptop keyboard arrow keys are not very responsive on games where I actually need them to work. -_-) It was actually kind of fun, surprisingly.

No idea about the easter egg one. Perhaps it has something to do with killing the boss? Or perhaps something to do with Duke Nukem - that is his character on the image of the main menu?

It seems to be very spotty... I got 100% accuracy four times in a row, then played it a few more times and for some reason my accuracy showed as 0%, then I restarted the game, and on the second time I finished the level, again with 100% accuracy, I finally got the medal. The only thing that changed was on the final attempt I deliberately wasted shots to lower my accuracy. I was using the alien gun for each attempt, so my accuracy was over 100% by the time the level finished. Perhaps the medal only unlocks for values between 75% and 100% or something.

The 0% accuracy attempts were all with the automatic rocket launcher for some reason. *shrug*

Sometimes you're not credited the points for medals you've gotten; for example, I was playing something earlier and unlocked two medals for a total of 15 points, but I was only given 5 points. Other times, if you've earned medals for a game and they hadn't been approved, the points are automatically added to your total (though sometimes you have to earn a medal to trigger it) when the medals get approved.

You'd think all the glitches would be worked out of the medal system by now, but there are still a lot of problems with it.
