Long horizontal rooms with turrets? Nope, not familiar with that, at least not in level 2. Actually, I screw up more from blowing up bots than from turrets causing friendly fire; that death zone is huge! (but for some reason doesn't kill you)

I know what you mean in the level 1 hallways. It has to do with when you open the doors.

And yes, I use the bombs at the last area to create a shortcut bypassing all the annoying crap around the teleporters.

The secret area is pretty large (larger than the screen), and you'll know it when you see it. That said, it's in the part of the map that is not used, and you'll have to respawn a lot for bombs.

Mechanical Ice Apocalypse v1.2 is finally out, and the victory screen (and by extension, the medals) should now work for you guys. Sorry for the long wait.

You know the block puzzle east of the screen? The secret island is 30 steps east and 10 steps south from the checkpoint next to the block puzzle.

I can also confirm that the remaining medals in Mechanical Ice Apocalypse work, and that he's changed the second round of missiles so they last on screen for longer, which makes that part harder to stay within the vertical bounds required to hit the enemy. Which really just means it'll be that much harder to knock me off the top of the scoreboard. I still got in with 1:57 today to get the medals though, so it's not that much harder.

The dice game was starting to piss me off though. So many times I had battles go to 30-something rounds because my sixes were countered by his, and my fours and fives were countered or beaten. I played Life, by the way, and got all the medals on my first playthrough.

is it just me or did anyone get the 100 point medal for iced over for doing nothing.

I just checked it in someone's medal page and then bam. i got it.

I'm really pissed off because I just completed both the standard and challenge Pipemazes in Shift: Freedom and the medals didn't send to my userpage. They didn't even pop-up in-game!

Yeah that game is stupidly buggy. Those 2 medals just don't work and half the game is completely unplayable. Plus there is far too much effort involved for some of the 5 point medals. Especially the rock solid level ones. For which you need to beat the main game, then TWO classic level packs before finally going through the tough levels for a measly 5 points.

I think the game will get an update fixing the major glitches and the medal values. If it doesn't, then its really not worth playing, which is a shame because it would have easily been my favourite shift game... if only it worked.

Is there a way to save your flash games externally? During my re-inventory of the medal points (I'm halfway through now), I accidentally reminded myself of the tragic incident from Medieval Rampage, where I got all 100 achievements, but I didn't get the medal. It probably doesn't resend either afaik. FUUUUUUU~~

That DJ game is pissing me off. Not because it's hard, because in the general case it's not. It's pissing me off because it has a habit of randomly deciding as I hit a note correctly that it's actually a miss. So even though I'm doing it exactly right, it breaks my combo and lowers my score basically because it feels like it. Anyone else had this problem?

Seriously, I'm trying to 100% a difficulty 3 song with the keyboard and it just arbitrarily says I miss a note, screwing it all up. I've done it 5 times now, and each time it randomly assigned a different note for me to "miss." It also does it on one note consistently in Monotune -respect-, making it impossible for me to get 98% no matter how well I do. I just played it with all other notes perfect and missing all bombs, and because it told me I missed that note I got 97.78%. And it's always the same one on that song. I mean, am I just missing something?

Alright, finished DJManiax. I got to 79 completion points with 4 scores under 90% (a couple WELL under 90%) and 2 scores non-existent (Seven Circles Crazy and You are a joke Normal). Does anyone know what actually constitutes earning a completion point, and how many there are available? Because I am confused. And tired, now. Good night.

Well...it worked just fine for me, and I have average computer specs. I do acknowledge that 100% can be a bit aggravating: I took 5-ish tries on difficulty 3 as well. As much as you're convinced you're concentrating 100%, I was always betrayed by a momentary slip in concentration.

I finally got the last secret medal in the game "Iced Over"!

I think that in DJManiax the last note for one or two songs is incorrect. So when you do it right it says you miss. I didn't bother to tell the author. But it's always the same note. I did not experience Dimono's problems. If you think you got a note right but you missed take a screenshot before you play any note and then confirm it calmly.

True, but not necessarily. I only used the item (or whatever those orbs are) that recovers 3 heath points and I beat the game with over 80 if not 90 of health. Unlike you, there is a big difference. So I think some strategy is involved.

I've only experienced the "random" missed notes at notes on the very end of a segment. Though if I absolutely had to point a culprit in your issues, it's either the Flash player itself (my crappy lappy can't do Seven Circles Crazy for shyt) or just you.

And I don't believe bombs have anything to do with your score, only your life.
