Do you have to beat the Gauntlet without dieing as well to get the Immortal medal in [Visible] 3? I've already beaten all mission levels without dieing (which my 16 year old brother can't do, lol), so I assume so. Also, does the medal related to viewing the story in Mechanical Ice Apocalypse not work? I've waited for the person to stop talking, then waited again for a few minutes, and exited, but didn't get anything.

Yes, Immortal is a gauntlet mode medal

Works for me...

And personally, I've never even gotten silver legitimately, so I don't think it's that easy XD We based the medals on 3D-xelu's best times, not mine.

And to person who posted about the victory glitch: it actually does work. There are two buttons below the victory thing, but there was a bit of code in there (since removed) that stopped them from actually showing. But they are there. The leftmost one will give you the Showoff one, but either will give you Winrar, and Gold, Silver, and Bronze (if applicable). A fix has been submitted.

I just finished the game in 2:03 (my first time beating it actually), and I didn't get Winrar, Gold, Silver or Bronze. So I can confirm that if you earn a Gold you don't get any of them. Also scores aren't actually getting submitted to the NG high scores, so other than getting a medal for it submitting the score doesn't get you any bragging rights or anything. Please fix this one soon, I want to get the medals while I remember the awesome timing I used. And yes, eventually I'll record a gameplay video for it.

Not most of them, just those 4. The rest of them work fine AFAIK; I got them.

The scoreboard works. I talked to Tom, he forgot to approve it when he did the medals. Like I said before, scores prior to approval STILL WERE CAPTURED AND SHOW.

Congrats, Dimono, because you have the fastest (legal :P) time as of now.

Still waiting for the update to go through to fix the medals.

I have a question for the "medal addicts"... Is right clicking and cheating with the options legit? I know using programs like cheat engine is not okay. But what about right click hacks? Just wondering.

That depends on who you ask. But no, it's not a hack. It may be a form of cheating to some, but, I think most are okay with it.

I would be okay with it. Most legitimate coders remove that option from the game. And if it's there to be fooled around with, go for it. Most of those games are easy anyways. It's third party programs that I have a program with. Cheat engine / auto clicker. I'll even go on record to say computers older than 5 years are not "legit". It's the same as using a program to slow down the animation. Reaction time is huge in many of the 500 medal games on newgrounds, and if you can slow down everything, it gives you an unfair advantage.

I know people are going to say "But I don't have the money for a new computer", but the reality is that you don't deserve some of the medals because they were programmed to test your reaction time. Like that new icicle drop game. I'm sure I could go buy a crappy laptop with a poor graphics card and get all the medals first try, but is that fair? Sure, it takes longer to do, but big deal. It's almost guaranteed.

I don't want to start a long winded argument with people, just my opinion. No way to enforce it, so you obviously will never be banned for playing with a slow computer, just how I feel.

As said, the number of medal games that can be manipulated with right clicks are few, and if the author left it in, go for it.

As for computer speed, it's really too hard to define. But if you have the integrity to prevent yourself from using Cheat Engine, then also find the integrity to play the games without deliberately slowing down your computer by an unreasonable amount. By unreasonable I would mean something like opening 50 tabs in firefox for no good reason. On my computer, when I have a couple of MS word / powerpoint/ excel windows open, it does slow the games just a bit compared to when the computer just has one firefox tab running the game, but I usually play flash games when I take a short break from work, so I think that's fair.

Considering it's not really possible to get some of the medals credited to your profile the legit way, go for it broski. Believe me, I've tried S.H.U.T. four times before I resorted to asking you guys for help and doing it the cheating way.

In unrelated news, I went back to a lot of old games, and now I've done 2 weeks of swearing and keyboard bashing over Dale & Peakot and Ching Chong Beautiful. For the latter, it must be quite a piece of art from a coding perspective, but it suffers design problems in hard mode.

Quick 335pts. I'll take it!

Also, the order of asteroids is as follows:

Brown
Green
Red
Grey
4 orbits
many orbits

Different sizes of the same colour asteroid do not count as different asteroids.

Unrelated to everything: I noticed quite some time ago that in general, in English Pub Pool, straight pool is good for accuracy and 8-ball is good for drinking pints. However, as with just about everything, sometimes you get one that just defies the rules. I've entered the habit of playing a game before bed, because it's generally relaxing, and tonight I chose to play 8-ball rather than straight pool. Here's the screenshot from the end of the game. Of note:

10-0 - perfect game
71% accuracy
Best break of 8 (I ran the table on frame 3 or so)
78 pots (I won every frame, as opposed to the computer sinking the 8-ball)

An old game, I know, but I'm still rather proud of this for some reason. Maybe it's all the tired.

I meant to say 2 weeks worth of swearing and keyboard bashing, not actually spending 2 weeks >_>

I decided to give Iced Over another shake, and apparently the author uploaded a new version some time ago. Will try again in a few days. Thank jebus too, because I tried simply lasting as long as possible, and the best I got was 45 seconds until the avalanche just overtook me through sheer speed. In order to get over 9000 points, you'd have to score an average of 200 points per second.

Congrats, Dimono, because you have the fastest (legal :P) time as of now.

Still waiting for the update to go through to fix the medals.

Here's me doing it in 1:56:24. My current best, though, is 1:55:56 (not recorded). I probably could have gotten closer to 1:55:40 if I'd been a little more aggressive on my 1:55:56 run, but at this point I've done close enough to the optimal time that I'm not going to sweat the milliseconds.

I think I've done all I can do with this game without 1.1.6 being approved so I can get those last 4 medals, and if someone else beats my time I won't be fighting to reclaim the top spot. I can tell you that my 1:55:56 run was perfect except for a small timing flaw right at the end, so I'm going to go ahead and say a slightly lower 1:55 is the lowest legit time that can be achieved on this one. Unless something changes in 1.2, that is.

For now, though... good night.

I don't think I understood what you said. I know I have a legit score of 6700 and that would be 200 points (a pizza item) per 1.5 seconds! Impossible. I did not do that. I think your time of 45 seconds is wrong. It must be more. But indeed the avalanche comes faster eventually and you lose no matter how fast you go. As for updates, I don't know of any other than the points change in the secret medal.

Pizza is 500 if I'm not mistaken o.O Beer is 200. And let's not forget what happens when you run into 3 gloves, 2 tanks, and 2 pizzas all in a 3x3 grid. That was just me trying to live as long as possible lol xD Had to get a baseline on "how realistic this medal is" somewhere xD. I would think maybe if I had open ground to run on forever, I could extend the time. But alas, no such luck.

The update response came from the devs responding to a review that I saw posted 8 hours earlier since my previous BBS post.

Great! Although I really suck at this game... The only way how I can get a decent score, is to set up the three balls you control in a diagonal line, and don't move the mouse during the game. It becomes less of a chaos that way.

It's pretty difficult to not use the mouse, especially if you're going after the combos. You'll end up missing too many if you stick to only your diagonal line. IMO the best way is to limit movement to a small radius around your orb. The further away the green orb is, the easier it is to mess up.

Funny, because Knuckstrike used the same method I used and I found it much easier.
The mouse overcomplicated that game. It's pretty easy.
